"A police officer at a Halloween costume party shot and killed a 39-year-old actor Saturday after the man pointed a fake gun at him, police said.

"Tt wasn't clear if the actor knew that the officer was responding to a noise complaint or if he thought he was just another partygoer in costume, said a police spokeswoman."

"It does not appear that (the officer) did anything wrong," Broughton said.
Nothing wrong? Huh?

"Calgary, Canada: Police are hunting two masked men who fired off a shot during a home invasion in the city's northeast."

"The incident happened on the 4600 block of Marbank Dr. N.E. last night around 8:25 p.m. when the men kicked in the back door of the house."

To suppose arms in the hands of citizens, to be used at individual discretion, except in private self-defense or by partial orders of a dissolution of the government. John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America (1787-1788).
