"41 people killed in 2000. ... 18 victims were shot, 10 with a handgun, five with a rifle and three with a shotgun; 10 were stabbed, though some were also shot, beat with a hammer, kicked and beat with fists or strangled."
But nobody is calling for bans on hammers, rope, etc., even though more people die by these methods when someone violates the Murder Ban.
