Combining leather with Kydex is nothing new. Several companies have done it for years. But it has mainly come in the form of a hybrid holster, typically a Kydex shell attached to a leather backer, mainly for the retention benefits of Kydex and the comfort of leather. But 1791 Gunleather chose a different route for their Optic Ready Paddle Holster 2.1 holster. |

The entry-level price for the Cosmi is $23,999. The one in the pictures would cost you $43,999. There, I said it. Before you panic and draft hate mail, let me tell you a short story. Around 1990 I had some plumbing done. The fellow doing it was in his mid-30s, polite, and knew his business. He saw my minty ’67 Dodge truck in the garage and we chatted about cars. I asked if he had a collector car. “Oh, yeah, I have a road car.” So, naturally I asked what he had.

The right to either harvest game or control invasive species via hunting while using a suppressed firearm is recognized in no less than 41 states – and for good reason. With the first commercially successful firearm suppressor – Hiram Percy Maxim's "Silencer" – hitting the market around 1902, the devices drew initial praise from outdoorsmen. That old "Bull Moose" Teddy Roosevelt loved them and even corresponded directly with Maxim on the subject.

These days President Joe Biden seems confused when it comes to just about everything. However, the longtime gun control advocate still saves some of his most fallacious and unintelligible comments for the firearms debate. Biden’s latest comments on gun legislation suggest that the president lacks even a rudimentary understanding of how firearms operate.

More people own guns today than ever before. We had to rewrite who owns guns and why they own them. Today, about four-out-of-ten families have a firearm in their home. Despite the astounding changes in gun ownership, the way some politicians talk about guns and gun owners is out of date.
New gun owners are subjected to a crash course in being misperceived and misrepresented by politicians.. and by the mainstream news media.
We're arguing about what is real and what is fantasy. |

The gun prohibition lobby, Everytown, Giffords and the rest, have been perpetuating the myth that the gun lobby, usually the NRA, has been “buying” the votes of pro-gun Representatives and Senators since the 1970s.
But now, just 10 days before the midterm elections, the real numbers speak louder than myths. Billionaires such as George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, Nick Hanauer, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey, and Microsoft co-owners—Bill Gates, the late Paul Allen and Steve Ballmer—have been bankrolling the gun control lobby over the past decades.

Mayor Joan Peck has demanded that five anti-Second Amendment ordinances be brought before the City Council. The proposed gun-control package bans law-abiding gun owners from bearing arms in "sensitive places," strips 18- to 20-year-old adults of their Second Amendment rights, imposes arbitrary waiting periods, bans so-called "ghost guns," and requires signage at FFLs describing the "dangers" of gun ownership. Please contact your City Council members here asking them to oppose these anti-Second Amendment ordinances.

A Fairfax County, Virginia mother raised concerns about an assignment that prompted students to analyze an anti-Secondment Amendment persuasive essay sample. The concerned parent, Darcey Geissler, sent Fox News Digital the essay that made a case for gun control. Responding to the principal’s email about her concern over the assignment, Geissler called the assignment "a poorly written, factually and legally inaccurate ‘essay,’ written by an adult parading as a child, being used to once again advance a political agenda."

Introduced in 1980, the 9x21mm IMI was a creation between the Franco Benvenuti agency of Italy and Israel Military Industries (IMI). Many countries, including Italy and most of the European Union, have banned the use of all military ammunition, such as the 9mm Parabellum. In order to circumvent gun control measures, the collaborative effort to create a substitute ammunition was seen as a good resolution and would allow civilians to own and use a powerful cartridge without fear of repercussions.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
To prohibit a citizen from wearing or carrying a war arm . . . is an unwarranted restriction upon the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege. [Wilson v. State, 33 Ark. 557, at 560, 34 Am. Rep. 52, at 54 (1878)] |
