A pit bull attack on a four-year-old girl and her grandmother was interrupted Wednesday by a neighbor who came out of his West Side house and shot the two dogs, killing one and critically wounding the other.

"In what gun-control proponents consider a major boost for their cause, Senator John McCain, the Arizona Republican, has begun appearing in television commercials promoting ballot initiatives in Colorado and Oregon that would require people who buy firearms at gun shows to undergo criminal background checks."
And we Arizonans aren't happy about it, either. It's not as if he doesn't know about registration leading to confiscation; he does.
