As this column has detailed, the Clinton-Gore Secretary of Defense issued a directive prohibiting any polling places at military bases and other facilities. Sierra Times Editor JJ Johnson hits the nail on the head again. His article is direct and to the point. If we allow the ballot box to be subverted, perhaps it is time to resort to the cartridge box. Let us hope however, that Al "No defining rule of law" Gore wakes up and bows out gracefully before it comes to that.
