... "The reliance on both deception and an uninformed electorate is the same strategy used by 'progressive' gun-grabbers to enact measures like the recently-passed Initiative 594 in Washington State. That fraud was foisted on a public that, in many cases, has no more understanding of the issue than what they have 'learned' through complicit media saturation of myths financed by billionaire plutocrats."

"Snookering the uninformed-but-opinionated into willingly giving up their rights has proven successful, and will be repeated in other states. And how this was done is ... uh ... transparent, with big money special interests outspending and drowning out voices of reason ..." ...

"Supporters of the Constitution, and particularly those who understand the Founders’ intent in writing the Second Amendment, are engaged in a never-ending war. It is a war against a totalitarian domestic enemy. Some portion of that enemy consider themselves to be enlightened, morally superior, infallible, and benign. Others, should they ever achieve their ultimate goals, will be no different than history’s most vicious, despotic mass murderers. All have one goal: total citizen disarmament. Government–their utopian government–must have an absolute monopoly on the means of using force . . ." ...

"As tomorrow’s 125th anniversary of Washington statehood looms, along with the Veteran’s Day observance, results of a new Gallup survey have been getting headlines because it shows the majority of Americans think they are safer with guns in the home, an idea frequently disdained by many of the people who pushed through Initiative 594." ...

"I once found a gem buried deep within the comments pages of a Washington Post anti-gun agitprop article. The trolls were hard at work churning out their vitriolic hyperbole, hoping to slay each other, wielding their ad hominem swords. As usual, seventy-five percent of the pro-2A crowd was providing thoughtful argument supported by statistics and appeals to principles. The libertarian sympathies of the gun rights crowd’s core were evident, and when someone dared point that out, a certain liberal troll quipped, 'Libertarians=Anarchists in Dockers.' That comment, as inaccurate as it may be (I happened to be wearing Patagonia Rock Crafts pants at the time) forced me to ask myself . . ." ...

"SI Defense is taking pre-orders for its upcoming fully-ambidextrous receiver sets for AR-style .308 rifles and has released photos and details of an upcoming carbine built using them."

"A original design, the SI-D308 receiver set has completely-mirrored controls on both sides, even the bolt catch lever. This means the same manual of arms can be used for lefties and righties, and it makes shooting it off-handed that much more natural."

"The company has taken the ambidexterity to a new level with these receivers, to the point where even the take-down pins can be reversed ..."

"If you like your home defense shotgun you can keep your home defense shotgun. This article is not for you. I’m not going to convince you to ditch one of the — if not the most — lethal close-quarters combat firearms made by hand of man. An incredibly dependable gun that can fire everything from less lethal rounds to one-ounce slugs (delivering over 3,100 ft-lbs of energy). If you want a genuine conversation stopper, the shotgun is it. That said, the shotgun has a few dramatic shortcomings for home defense . . ." ...

"HPR’s Black Ops ammo, a jacketed frangible bullet is a new entry into the market. In their product announcement you can see how HPR positions this ammo in the marketplace. HPR has kindly supplied some 9mm and .45 ACP ammo for testing. ... I can say that it’s packaged very slickly, with an apparently plastic box, an attractive hexagonal ammo tray, some nicely polished nickel-plated cases, and an attractive black finish. This is expensive ammo (AmmoSeek lists a box of 9mm for about $1.25 per round, and the .45 ACP is going for about $1.53 each). Where other ammo comes in a cheap paper box, this packaging does lend an initial impression of quality . . ." ...

"Battles over gun control in America are not always loud and filled with angry back-and-forth rhetoric. Some of the skirmishes are quiet — and perhaps not skirmishes at all."

"That is the goal of a North Jersey rabbi and a group of public officials, including some mayors from Bergen County, who plan to show up at the offices of gunmakers in several states and at least one investment firm in Manhattan that has deep ties to gunmakers to discuss controls on weapons."

"They plan to submit formal 'requests for information' on what the gunmakers are doing — in design or marketing policies — to keep guns from falling into the hands of mentally ill people or criminals." ...

... "Gun violence has taken away thousands of innocent lives. Weapons from the basic to the advanced ones are easily accessible to all and sundry. Despite the fact that the president is heard, after almost each successive gun related killing episode, that he will work on controlling the menace of arms, he has encountered stiff resistance to negotiate with the proponents of the out-dated second amendment to the US constitution. Gun violence is often attributed to the growing mental illness in the country. Even if one, for a second, believes this contention, not much seems to be done about the problem. It’s basically a zero sum game that is going the right winger’s way so far." ...
