From the Washington Post: "Faced with a cliffhanger election, the Democratic Party directed a telemarketing firm on election night to begin calling thousands of voters in Palm Beach. The mission: To raise questions about a disputed ballot and urge voters to contact local election officials.
"The Democratic National Committee paid Texas-based TeleQuest to make the calls – while polls were still open..."
This may be what started the ball rolling in Palm Beach County. |

A village official will carry a gun to a Village Board meeting. Some people are nervous, including the president of the Wisconsin Pro-Gun Movement based in Eagle, WI.
Apparently, everyone is concerned over people's feelings, regardless of what the law says.
I have heard that 30 years ago racists were nervous sitting at the same lunch counter with African Americans.
Bigotry is bigotry. |

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State. Our opinion is that any law, State or Federal, is repugnant to the Constitution, and void, which contravenes this right. [Nunn vs. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846)] |
