"For years, people who fly have been told to "cooperate" with hijackers and all that will happen to them will be a little inconvenience unless they fight back. Therefore, don't fight. The idea being that there isn't much that's worth your life. For years, hijackers cooperated. They only killed or injured people on hijacked planes if they resisted..." --Ray Thomas

"The message is simple, Americans: Arm yourselves.

We as a nation have never had a more crystal-clear reason for doing it – at least not since 1776. Our founders understood that an armed, vigilant, self-governing moral people was the best guarantee of preserving freedom.

... I was a little disappointed when President Bush suggested the most patriotic thing Americans could do in these trying times was shop." --Joseph Farah

I read, and re-read, the program sent to me in the mail: "Your program includes firearm instruction at the United Sports Shooting Range and your choice of manicure at the Stillwater Spa." GOA ALERTS -- Gun Owners of America warned you last month about Sen. John McCain of Arizona who was trying to kill the armed pilots amendment. He failed then, but now he's at it again.
