Second-year project lets hunters donate harvest to help feed the needy
"Gun hunters heading to the woods Saturday for the opening day of Alabama's deer season have an opportunity to help others."
"Hunters Helping the Hungry" is a second-year project spearheaded by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. It lets hunters take deer to participating processors who will prepare the venison for the needy and homeless shelters." |
