The new models, both in Bond's familiar style of over/under single-action derringer, sport rebounding hammers and are constructed with stainless steel barrels and frames. The new guns include the 3-inch barreled Stinger RS with an integrated trigger guard and the more compact 2.5-inch Cowboy-frame (no trigger guard) Rawhide. Both have fixed sights, a two-shot capacity, and manual cross-bolt safeties.

A federal judge in western New York has granted a preliminary injunction against enforcement of the “private property exclusion” tenet of the state’s new gun control law, calling it unconstitutional.
The case, known as Christian et. al. v. Nigrelli, et. al., was brought by the Second Amendment Foundation and Firearms Policy Coalition on behalf of Brett Christian, a private citizen. U.S. District Court Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. with the U.S. District Court in Buffalo handed down the 27-page ruling.

When it comes to handguns, I am an equal opportunist: Revolvers, semi-autos; I love them all. That same sense of equality comes through as a collector. Though there are considerably more pistols and revolvers than long guns in La Bunker del Boyd, when it comes to handguns, surprisingly both wheelguns and (revolvers) what the late Jeff Cooper referred to as "crunch'n tickers" (DA/SA semi-autos) are, for the most part—equally represented—with classic (alloy/steel-framed) and modern (polymer) examples each being prominently represented.

Crime happens everywhere. It was near sundown on a weekday night when a homeowner in Fairfax, Virginia was at home. With him were two other adults and two children. The homeowner noticed a stranger walking on his property. This is an upscale neighborhood filled with large and widely separated two-story homes. It takes several minutes to walk from one house to the next through the heavily forested neighborhood. |

The Expansion Mono-Block, or EMB, line is Fiocchi’s premier low-penetration and rapid-expansion ammo, created exclusively for defense use. As of 2015, you’ll only find this in the 9mm Luger variety, making it a very specialized round comparable to Federal Premium’s Hydra-Shock personal defense rounds. The EMBs are part of the Extrema brand from Fiocchi, sharing some similarities with traditional hollow points and other expanding ammunition.

Though half the states in the union now have some type of “constitutional-carry” law on the books, and so citizens don’t have to get special permission, via concealed-carry permits, to use their right to carry for self-defense, the number of Americans with concealed-carry permits has still gone up in the last year.

As of Nov 8, 2022, the Colorado GOP is effectively dead or at least on life support. What was once a solid red state became purple, post-Watergate. Today, Colorado is solid blue after the 2022 mid-terms and is the second consecutive election where Democrats control all state-wide offices.
