I hate guns, but I like the Kyle Rittenhouse story. I hate guns because too many of them are in the hands of irresponsible people like Kyle Rittenhouse, people who lack the mature judgment to use something so dangerous.

The current supply and shipping environment could alter the timing, but enthusiasts interested in getting one of the first produced after the brand’s resurrection by one of the industry’s foremost shouldn’t procrastinate.

Smith & Wesson continues with the industry-wide trend towards carry optics by adding new M&P9 M2.0 variants with factory MRD cuts. The two new pistol variants – the full-sized and compact M&P9 M2.0 – ship complete with Smith's C.O.R.E. system of seven mounting plates, allowing the user to mount a wide variety of popular micro red-dot optics. Tall optics/suppressor-height three-dot sights co-witness through MRDs. A further upgrade is the company's new M2.0 flat-face trigger, a design that S&W says optimizes trigger finger positioning and delivers consistency for more accurate shot placement.

Beneath a trending avalanche of subterfuge and rhetoric, and shockwave after shockwave of violent uprisings deteriorate into chaos, the major population centers up and down the left coast are burning examples of misplaced empathy and cratering to special interests by elected officials resulting in Dystopia. Like a scene out of “A Clockwork Orange”, a swarm of ultraviolet clowns descended upon a swanky business district and feasted upon the spoils of a clothing store.

For several reasons, the 357 SIG vs 9mm debate is not often thought of, even though the 357 SIG has some of the most devout supporters in the shooting community.

Designed to replicate the ballistics of the venerable 357 Magnum, the 357 SIG has a small following inside the law enforcement community and government agencies such as the United States Secret Service (USSS) and the Texas Department of Public Safety (TDPS, a.k.a. the Texas Rangers).

Lumpkin County is in the crosshairs of a lawsuit filed by the owners of The Complete Combatant after their self defense business was ordered to cease all training that involved shooting at the Porter Springs gun range. It was at this month’s work session that the Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners announced that they had been served with the suit in response to their rejection of the company’s Special Land Use Application (SLUA) request. The decision came after complaints from around the community over Brian Hill’s self defense program for the “armed citizen,” a business that has been located on Porter Springs Road since 2017.

Springfield Armory has in its 1911 9mm pistols lineup a nice looking and often overlooked Commander-sized, single-action 9mm called the “Ronin.” Before I analyzed its features, performance, and gave my opinions, I had to discover for myself “Why is the pistol named Ronin?”

This light was initially reviewed based on the glowing recommendations of others whom I trust. Since it was made by Streamlight, I already knew it was good quality but I wasn’t sure if I’d like the largish size and semi-unusual shape for an Everyday Carry (EDC) light. Boy, was I wrong.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
There are other things so clearly out of the power of Congress, that the bare recital of them is sufficient, I mean the "...rights of bearing arms for defence, or for killing game..." These things seem to have been inserted among their objections, merely to induce the ignorant to believe that Congress would have a power over such objects and to infer from their being refused a place in the Constitution, their intention to exercise that power to the oppression of the people. —ALEXANDER WHITE (1787)
