F*#ker Carlson’s stochastic terrorism. Empty Green’s harassing a Parkland shooting survivor. The NRA continuing to stoke the carnage. All these and more must stop, and in this country the only way to stop it is with the power of our collective wallets. Everyone must cut their cable TV, and tell these companies with blood on their hands that we will no longer give them our money, until they remove Fox News, OAN and Newsmax from their lineups. I’m almost tempted to add CNN to the list. Are you willing to make the sacrifice? I know the civil rights activists who led the Montgomery Bus Boycotts and other boycotts and “buycotts” would do it. Cut off their bullhorns and bring these bloodthirsty villains to their knees!!! |

On every issue I care about from individual liberty, property rights, second amendment rights, protecting the unborn, education reform, tax and regulatory reform, Tom has a record I can trust.” |

Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr. wants his gun back, and his attorneys say Indiana’s Constitution allows him to have it.
Martinez, though his attorneys, filed a complaint for declaratory judgement and injunctive relief in Lake Superior Judge John Sedia’s court Wednesday morning claiming the Firearms Matters Law violates his rights under the Indiana State Constitution. Authored by State Rep. Ben Smaltz, R-Auburn, and signed by Governor Eric Holcomb in April, the Firearms Matters Law disallows, among other things people under indictment from carrying firearms. |

A gun rights group, sheriff and gun store owner filed an emergency motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking to stop enforcement of one of the strictest gun control laws in the nation.
The gun control measure narrowly approved by Oregon voters is set go into effect on Dec. 8. U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut on Thursday scheduled a hearing on the motion for Dec. 2. The state has until next Wednesday to file a response to the emergency motion for preliminary injunction.
The Oregon Firearms Foundation, Sherman County Sheriff Brad Lohrey and Adam Johnson, owner of Coat of Arms Firearms, filed a federal lawsuit against the Oregon governor and attorney general on Nov. 18 saying Measure 114 is unconstitutional. |

Converting a DA/SA pistol like the H&K USP to DAO typically requires the installation of proprietary parts. Having a certified armorer or qualified gunsmith do the work ensures the gun’s safety and reliability.
Call me crazy, but I like double-action-only revolvers and I am considering converting my double-action/single-action (DA/SA) semi-automatic pistols to double-action-only (DAO) triggers as well. The smooth, consistent trigger pull from first shot to last shot is about as simple as it gets, and the speed with which I can pull the trigger makes little difference in shots per second when compared with shooting a DA/SA pistol. On top of that, my accuracy is noticeably better when shooting DAO. |

Politicians in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, California, Oregon, Washington, Chicago, and elsewhere, keep telling the world that their constituents – the people who elected them – are stupider, less responsible, less rational, less trustworthy, and more prone to violence than the people in other areas of the United States. And the voters in those states and jurisdictions keep reelecting them. |

The amendment not only proposes to prohibit a vast array of rifles and shotguns (with no mention of compensation for current owners), it also includes changing the definition of a prohibited firearm in the criminal code to include: "a firearm that is a rifle or shotgun, that is capable of discharging centre-fire ammunition in a semi-automatic manner and that is designed to accept a detachable cartridge magazine with a capacity greater than five cartridges of the type for which the firearm was originally designed."
This will effectively mean the end of all semi-automatic long guns in Canada, at least while the current coalition government remains in power. |

More guns have been stolen from unlocked cars this year than in the past four years.
“I think it’s really a problem as a whole with all the jurisdictions here with people leaving firearms in unlocked vehicles and unfortunately and I wish it wasn’t the case but people enter unlocked vehicles and look for things to steal,” Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley said.
Hadley said handguns, rifles, and at least one AK-47 were taken from a car that the gun owner left unlocked. |

In the wake of the ban orders against gun culture in state, social media users are on a spree to delete their old posts glorifying weapons.
The police have also enhanced vigil against the display of weapons at public functions and circulation of images and songs glorifying gun culture on social media. Senior police officials are also monitoring the compliance of the government ban on the display of weapons and songs glorifying violence.
Rakesh Gupta Happy, a mobile dealer, said people had been approaching him for help in deleting old photos or videos on social media to avoid any penal action. Many are even ready to pay for getting rid of the objectionable posts, he said. |

In that sense, yes, America is the land of the free: free to imagine an enemy . . . free to project your own self-hatred outward, onto a specifically defined group of people and sculpt them into the enemy, perhaps with the help of others, especially via social media. We are also free, for the most part, to purchase guns, including assault rifles, and lots of ammo, and plan an attack—at a church, a school, a grocery store, a nightclub, whatever.
To actually carry out that attack, well, that's illegal, maybe even illegal plus. It could be both murder and a hate crime. |

“And as the dissenting judges in the 9th Circuit decision had said a year ago, it was clear that in 1791, there were no bans on high-capacity magazines — that gun regulations in 1791, when the Second Amendment was adopted, permitted individuals to have firearms that were able to fire multiple rounds in a short period of time. And so in light of that very historically-rooted approach to assessing gun rights, I think it’s going to be very difficult for Oregon, California, Washington and other states to be able to survive a Second Amendment challenge to a ban on high-capacity magazines.” |

New York federal judge John Sinatra Tuesday issued a preliminary injunction in Christian v. Nigrellixi blocking New York’s enforcement of the “private property exclusion” within NY penal law section 265.01-d. Judge Sinatra found the ban unconstitutional because it violates the US Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment regarding citizens’ right to “keep and bear arms,” as guaranteed in the US Constitution’s Second Amendent.
Individuals John Boron and Brett Christian, the Firearms Policy Coalition, Inc. and the Second Amendment Foundation filed the Complaint in September 2022 against Kevin Bruen and Erie County District Attorney John Flynn in their official capacities as state officials. |

This week, first Colorado Springs, and now, Chesapeake. Hardly a day goes by without yet another mass shooting [“5 dead, 25 injured in shooting at LGBTQ club,” front page, Nov. 21]. Are we really sure this is the sort of “well regulated Militia” our Founding Fathers had in mind? Or, perhaps the Supreme Court could be truly originalist and limit the “right to keep and bear Arms” to those specific weapons available to the people when the Second Amendment was ratified in 1791. |

Rep. Jim Olsen is the first lawmaker to file a bill for the upcoming 2023 Oklahoma legislative session.
House Bill 1001 would lower the legal age limit to carry a firearm from 21 years old to 18 years old.
"You can go in the military and use very lethal weapons (at 18 years old)," Olsen, R-Roland, said. "Additionally you can get married and you may want to protect your spouse or children."
Olsen also filed House Bill 1002, called the Second Amendment Sanctuary State Act.
"If the federal government were to exceed their authority and start confiscating firearms from law-abiding citizens, then we would want to step in and say 'You are under arrest and you're going to stop,'" he said. |

I’ll stand up and admit it — I’m a gun plumber.
In case you aren’t aware, a “gun plumber” is an oft-derogatory term for someone who works on firearms despite a lack of proper tools, basic knowledge or any real skills. The telltale cry of a gun plumber is the famous announcement of, “Sure, I can fix that” — even though he might not even be sure if the object in question is animal, vegetable or mineral. |
