Rather than celebrate what is the greatest nation in the history of mankind, Thanksgiving Day haters drone on and on about indigenous injustice. No country is perfect but the one our founding fathers laid out is dam close. God bless America.

Prosecutors in Washington are demanding that minors be covered by the state's “red flag” law, which allows for guns to be seized with a court order, according to a report.
State law is silent on whether a judge can issue an Extreme Risk Protection Order, or ERPO, in the case of a minor....
She said the case involves an 18-year-old charged with a crime whose father owns guns but who refuses to tell cops where they are still being kept in the home.
“We would file the ERPO against the juvenile because the father has access to firearms in the home, and the father is not being cooperative with law enforcement to confirm that the firearms are out of the home,” Wyatt said.

Let me be real clear about this; I think today's American ammunition companies are building the best defensive ammunition we’ve ever seen. Nothing of what follows should be construed to mean that I am being critical of their efforts. Having said that, I will tell you that, in the years that I’ve been testing guns and writing articles, I have occasionally found factory ammunition that should not have gotten by the quality-control stage. On a number of occasions, I have found cartridges that had the primer seated upside down. I have found damaged bullets in loaded cases. |

Voters in King County, the most populated administrative district which includes Seattle and the nightmarish unbalanced blue wave entitled snarky counterproductive idealism of radical politics and billions of tax dollars allocated towards the construction of a socialist dystopia, are partially responsible for the adoption of damaging legislation punishing law-abiding gun owners, while inadvertently (or not), enabling a burgeoning criminal enterprise. (No offense to the trio of wealthy software tycoons, and a pretentious trust fund baby, who spent over $5 million dollars to ensure the anti-gun campaign would equate to victory on election night.)

Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? But the journey from nomination to confirmation was anything but good. In fact, it was quite an embarrassing spectacle. America watched in shock as the Left did everything it could to tear down an honorable man with a stellar judicial track record spanning more than a decade on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The finishing touches are still being put on the facility and its inventory, but an indoor shooting range originally proposed for Midtown Kingston has officially opened in the town of Ulster. The Safeshoot indoor shooting range and firearms training center at 10 Kieffer Lane opened to the public on Nov. 17 and to its members on Nov. 10, according to Dr. Adam Soyer, one of the owners. He said the facility is still getting in its inventory and setting up, but the indoor shooting range is operational and people have started to take advantage of it.

Anyone who has heard me speak knows that I talk a lot about changing the narrative. As a playwright and an arts educator, I have to measure my words carefully. I wrote an award-winning play called “Ferdinand,” about a single dad raising his son to be big and strong but kind and gentle like his namesake the beloved bull. I wrote it for children but I also wrote it to adults because it was really a play about bullying, gender stereotypes, toxic masculinity, and the messages we give to our children and in rehearsal one day, the actor kept paraphrasing and I had to point out why I had written each word and phrase as I had, the intention behind it. He said to me, “I never realized what a minefield children’s theatre is.”

The Violence Prevention Research Program (VPRP) at UC Davis and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health conducted a study about the impact California's gun control laws have had on homicide and suicide rates over the last 10 years. And guess what? Researchers found that the Golden State's gun control laws had absolutely no impact. And, even more surprising, the study's lead researcher found that the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is severely flawed.

Parents of children who may be looking forward to a field trip to the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City next year should be aware that, under a proposed new rule, individuals with concealed-carry permits would be allowed to bring firearms into the Capitol building. Thus, their children may be sharing hallways or visiting offices along with individuals carrying guns.

We live in a world where countless options of quality pistols and revolvers abound. Functional, practical semi-automatic pistols sell for around $500 and will accomplish the task of self-defense or recreational shooting reliably and with adequate accuracy. For even entry-level competition they leave a lot to be desired because in competition, even when you’re just getting started, quality equipment is required.

The technicians insisted the weapons were available, if anyone was interested. We don’t know what eventually happened to the prototypes. While a fixture on the modern battlefield, helicopters are especially vulnerable when hovering low to the ground and dropping off troops. For almost 60 years, the U.S. Army and other services have tried out different weapons to protect choppers as they land and take back off again.
