The Second Amendment Foundation has filed an opening brief in support of its motion for a preliminary and permanent injunction against the State of Delaware and enforcement of House Bill 450, which radically expands the state’s laws and bans so-called “assault weapons.”
SAF is joined by the Firearms Policy Coalition, Inc., DJJAMS LLC, and two private citizens, William Taylor and Gabriel Gray, for whom the lawsuit is named. The lawsuit names Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings as the defendant. Plaintiffs are represented by attorney Bradley P. Lehman at Gilbert Scali Busenkell & Brown LLC. |

Leftists are no longer hiding the fact that they want to ban and confiscate guns. ‘President’ Biden went all authoritarian in saying “[that] we still allow semiautomatic weapons to be purchased is sick,” as well as calling for even more unconstitutional gun confiscations with so-called ‘red flag’ orders. This puts the lie to the incessantly repeated talking point that ‘no one is talking about taking anyone’s guns.’ |

Following President Biden’s Thanksgiving Day criticism of semiautomatic firearms, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) tweeted that Biden “wants to ban modern firearms.”
Breitbart News reported that Biden moved beyond his usual “assault weapons” ban rhetoric on Thanksgiving Day, actually speaking to sales of semiautomatic firearms in general, claiming they have “no social redeeming value.” |

A federal judge in western New York has granted a preliminary injunction against enforcement of the “private property exclusion” tenet of the state’s new gun control law, calling it unconstitutional.
The case, known as Christian et. al. v. Nigrelli, et. al., was brought by the Second Amendment Foundation and Firearms Policy Coalition on behalf of Brett Christian, a private citizen. U.S. District Court Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. with the U.S. District Court in Buffalo handed down the 27-page ruling. |

A gun store in Maryland was raided by thieves on Friday, and police are searching for anyone involved in the burglary. The Montgomery County Police Department has not released many details on the raid of Atlantic Guns in Rockville, Maryland, a short distance away from Washington, D.C., though an initial report said the thieves took "long guns" from the store. Five or six people forced their way into the store after crashing a black sedan into the gun shop, the department confirmed to the Washington Examiner. |

Whether or not it is a good idea to search your own residence for a suspected burglar, most people have done it and will continue to do it. One awakens to a noise and simply doesn’t know what it is. Could the cat have knocked something over or is someone actually in your home? Whether it is a good idea or not, most people will go investigate. |

Deer harvest numbers are off slightly this year in Minnesota, but the hunting isn’t over yet as the firearms ‘B’ season continues this weekend. “The ‘B’ season actually started this past Saturday in southeastern Minnesota,” DNR big game program leader Barb Keller said. “It runs until Sunday. We also have additional harvest opportunities, including our muzzleloader season which opens this Saturday, and then our archery deer season runs through Dec. 31.” |

Many have noted that the Second Amendment literally protects all of our other rights; after all, if criminals or tyrants are able to take your life or liberty with little to no resistance—especially armed resistance—your right to free speech, your right to due process under the law and more are unlikely to be respected. Unless you, or our heroes in blue charged with protecting the innocent, are able to protect our most basic rights, all of our rights are in danger. |

For a new shooter, the number of bullet types and terminology can be overwhelming and difficult to understand – and the full metal case is arguably the most confusing of them all. Typically, this bullet type is found labeled in the bulk ammo section of foreign manufacturer sites, and it's basically the same thing as the full metal jacket, or FMJ. Many gun authorities note that Remington was the first to use the description "full metal case." |

Fast-forward to today, and the brand has a good reputation for their high-quality new and remanufactured ammunition, and their product line includes ammunition for the most popular calibers on the market – including 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 Auto and 38 Special. |

I purchased this .22-cal., seven-shot pistol. I was told it was called a “knuckleduster” and used as an under-the-table poker equalizer. It was designed to be turned around in the hand to be used as a brass knuckle, I guess in case there were more than seven players in the poker game or you were a poor shot and/or a poor poker player. The upper frame is stamped: “My Friend Pat.D: Dec 26, 1864.” Also, a serial number, 16026, is stamped on the bottom of the frame. What can you tell me about it? |

The rapid-fire pistol match, the second Olympic handgun event, puts emphasis on both speed and accuracy. It is shot on a group of five man-sized silhouettes, spaced side by side at 75-centimeter intervals (30 inches) and at a distance of 25 meters (27 yards). The targets are pivoted on vertical axes and arranged so that they can be exposed (faced) or turned away (edged) simultaneously.

The Pentagon last week announced the latest withdrawal of equipment from U.S. military inventories for Ukraine since August 2021-- including millions of rounds of ammo. The 26th draw-down authorized by the Biden Administration includes 150 heavy machine guns fitted with thermal sights to counter Russian drones, 250 vehicles, 10,000 120mm mortar rounds, and "over" 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition among other items. In all, the latest stockpile is valued at up to $400 million. Overall, this brings the total of American military assistance to Ukraine this year to more than $19 billion. By comparison, Ukraine spent just $5.9 billion on its entire military in 2021. |
