A bill that would allow counties to ban the Holiday Hunt for Big Game between Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, is an overreach. As written, it would ban hunting for ANY game during that one-week period. The concern is the hunt could interfere with snowmobilers. That's likely to be an infrequent eventuality based on patterns we’ve seen developing over the last couple of decades.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Nations and peoples who forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms. — Robert Heinlein
