Kim DeMille of Utah's Safe to Learn, Safe to Worship Coalition, a group trying to stop permit holders from carrying legally possessed CCW's into schools or churchs, doesn't know why the town people think their 2nd Amendment rights are in danger, because, "The state Legislature hasn't addressed guns on any basis." That's funny, we Utah gun owners fought hard last year, to keep some really stupid gun laws from passing. Tell Ms. DeMille what YOU think: safeutah@inconnect.com |

A great many of these "rappers" or whatever the hell you call them are consistent about one thing: being violent. Their "music" is a reflection of who they are: thugs. Seems every week one of them is getting busted for something or other. And they get back out and go right back to gangsta rapping.
Still...even though I find "rappers" to mostly be vile, woman-hating, violence-promoting jerks, I support their right to carry a self-defense firearm. |

Voters in Georgia can get more than a new president when they vote on Tuesday. One lucky voter in the Atlanta area could win a 12-gauge shotgun in a raffle promoted by a group opposed to limits on gun ownership.
Voters can take the ``I Voted' sticker they receive after casting a ballot on Election Day to two gun shops in suburban Atlanta -- American Classic Marksman in Norcross and Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna -- and fill out a raffle ticket to win a shotgun that normally sells for $1,000. |

And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms....The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. — Thomas Jefferson in a letter to William S. Smith in 1787. Taken from Jefferson, On Democracy p. 20, S. Padover ed., 1939 |
