While under anesthetic for a colonoscopy on November 19, Joe Biden handed the reins of power to Kamala Harris, for 85 minutes the most powerful person in the world. That same Friday, a Wisconsin jury declared accused murderer Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty of all charges. Later that night, Harris tweeted, "Today's verdict speaks for itself. I've spent a majority of my career working to make our criminal justice system more equitable. It's clear, there's still a lot more work to do."

Across the country this month, state legislatures will be opening for business and by now grassroots gun rights activists should know who their local representatives are, how to reach them and someone on their staff to contact. It’s not rocket science and you can bet the farm people in the gun prohibition movement already have this information. They will be using it to support their anti-gun-rights friends in state capitols and to browbeat, bully, harass and scare lawmakers they see as the enemy. Pro-rights state senators and representatives or assembly members on their enemies lists will be branded as tools of the “gun lobby,” child-haters and bigots.

If memory serves me right, I shot my first squirrel, which was incidentally my first game animal, in 1972. I was eight at the time. My father, Mick, was there—observer, educator, guardian, coach, and counselor. The place was Howard Klingeman’s woods; the gun, a single shot Harrington & Richardson .410. |

Before you know it, 2022 will be here. But there is a lot of work to be done before the November elections. In fact, how successful Second Amendment supporters are in 2022 could depend on what happens now. Why is that? Because many candidates are going to run in primaries. These elections are a chance for Second Amendment supporters to have an outsized impact on the November 2022 elections. This is because primary turnout is much lower than that in a general election, and therefore it is a way to shape the landscape favorably.

The truncated cone hollow point (TCHP) is a truncated cone bullet with a hole in the tip to promote expansion on impact and to boost the stopping power. The standard truncated cone is a smooth-feeding bullet with more penetration than your average round nose or soft point, due to the shape.
For penetration, the TC bullet type is a spectacular choice for semi-automatic pistols and rifles. If you add in the stopping power of the hollow point, you’ve got a bullet that will devastate a soft target if it impacts any vital area.

There’s an old Monty Python sketch in which a theatrical radio narrator desperately tries to make an exceedingly boring story sound suspenseful and melodramatic. “June the 4th, 1973,” the voice says, “was much like any other summer’s day in Peterborough, and Ralph Mellish, a file clerk at an insurance company, was on his way to work as usual when ... dah dum dum ... nothing happened!” |

Holy shrimp! No, that’s not the two words I’d used to describe Black Friday gun sales, but it’s close. It was a good day for the gun industry and American civil rights. With Democrats back in power and acting like idiots, they’re back to being the best sales team for the number one item they hate: firearms. Seriously, it’s hilarious to see such an anti-gun party do everything they can to make sure that everyone rushes to buy firearms and thereby forever killing chances of shredding the Second Amendment. |

At least four LAPD officers and a deputy in the LA Sheriff’s Department knowingly bought stolen guns from the LAPD Police Academy’s gun store, according to a new investigation. The store’s then-manager, Archi Duenas, was arrested in spring 2020 for allegedly stealing dozens of guns and selling them for cash. The LAPD captain overseeing the investigation says top commanders on the police force tried to hamstring her team’s work. The LA Times took a closer look at this story, the officers charged in the case, and the attempts to protect those involved.

A former Norfolk, Virginia police lieutenant spoke with NewsNation affiliate WAVY about his continued fight for answers after he was fired this past spring. William “Bill” Kelly had a 19-year career in law enforcement, but it only took about four days for him to lose it. It was last April when the City of Norfolk learned about Kelly’s donation to the Kyle Rittenhouse legal defense fund.

Craig Burris and his cadre of awesome instructors from Tactical Training Solutions in Minnesota gave me a dose of reality while attending a class in September. There were laughs, friendships made and, ultimately—an understanding of what I was lacking, and where my starting point should be to improve my pistol shooting skills.
