You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Its one of the best lines in the classic movie The Princess Bride, but its also what immediately comes to mind every time I read an anti-gun opinion piece that attempts to mask its gun control agenda under the banner of compromise. Rarely do these pieces ever offer any sort of real compromise on the part of the anti-gun activists.

Much has changed in the 60 years since Clyde Blambergs late father, also named Clyde, opened Clydes Sport Shop in Lansdowne, selling worms to fishermen from a roadside stand before building a small store. There are not as many hard-core fishermen, said Blamberg, who took over the shop alongside his brother William Bill Blamberg after their fathers death in the 1980s. Hunting grounds are diminishing, and theres not as many people getting outside as we would like, he said.

An exciting weekend at AAR Crossbreed Holster Studios! First, the ATL area experienced a historic snowstorm dropping nearly a foot of snow in the AAR Crossbreed Holster Studio vicinity causing power and internet outages for days.
This allowed Mark to broadcast from the original AAR Studio A from Salem Radio Networks AM 920 The Answer studios. Mark welcomed newest affiliate WRCN Long Island News 103.9 FM. Problem was, WRCN was unable to alleviate technical issues to bring the program to listeners when scheduled thereby moving the opening AAR NYC area broadcast to this Sunday.

The defeat of Republican candidate Roy Moore in the special Alabama race for U.S. Senator is being followed by widespread analyses from conservative and liberal commentators, all putting their spin on the election result and perhaps the best of these after-action reports appears in The Hill.
That longtime Capitol Hill news organ pegs it down pretty well, acknowledging that one of the winners in Moores loss is Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Grassroots conservatives dislike McConnell, who represents too much of what is wrong in Congress, in their eyes.

The U.S. has more guns per person than any other country, a ranking that is unlikely to drop even in the wake of the latest high-casualty mass shootings. Why are guns so pervasive here when they take so many lives (more than 36,000 in 2015)? Which Americans are the most strongly tied to their gunsand why? Baylor University sociologists F. Carson Mencken and Paul Froese tackled these questions in a study published last month in Social Problems. They surveyed 577 gun owners about how their guns make them feel, creating a gun empowerment scale designed to measure owners moral and emotional attachment to their weapons. |

In 2017, there were 65 and that's only through Oct. 31. A Missouri law that took effect in January allows people to carry guns without a permit in nearly every public space, so theres not much business owners or police can do to keep guns out.
