That is, the judges on the ninth circuit court are collectivists, who see their judicial "solutions" only in terms of the collective. Well, the Nazis operated on the basis of "public health" too, in the same manner these judges on the ninth circuit court have ruled that the right to keep and bear arms is only a collective right "owned" by the state, which they believe should maintain a monopoly on the use of force. Their ruling makes the state supreme, not the individual and it turns our form of jurisprudence on it's head." |

"Close to 30 students came to the shooting range today, under instruction from Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies. The students are part of the Venturing Program. The program is run by the Boy Scouts of America, and the teens take part in camping adventures, winter survival and ski trips. Today, they learned gun safety and also came away with a greater respect for law enforcement. Students also learn leadership they can use for life." |

"If the Supreme Court were so inclined, it could easily render a strong individual-rights interpretation of the Second Amendment. There is a mountain of impressive scholarship supporting that view, some of it produced by mainstream and even liberal constitutional law theorists. A decision — especially a unanimous one — recognizing that the Second Amendment protects individuals, not states, would change the whole nature of the gun-control debate by paving the way for a national registry that makes ballistic fingerprinting, comprehensive licensing and other forms of regulation possible to implement and enforce."
