Nickel-plated lead shot is different from your typical lead shot in that the coating allows the shot to leave your barrel a bit smoother, gives more penetration, and can lead to easier kills when hunting pheasants and waterfowl. While this shot is more expensive than your average lead, there are definitely some benefits that make it worth the price.

Following the gruesome murder of Tessa Majors, an 18-year-old freshman at Barnard College in New York City, Dr. Ronald Stephens, executive director of the National School Safety Center in California, predicted a rise in concealed carry permit laws to help deal with the escalating violence.
"As we look at the levels of violence and crime today, not only in schools but in community places, it's almost like shopping malls have become the new go-to place for disruption," he said Tuesday. "Or [movie] theaters or other large gathering points. I think the changing of the times is affecting the choices that people make, and I suspect we'll see more of the concealed carry permit [solutions] taking place." |

A new campaign video sponsored by anti-gun billionaire and presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg claiming 263 school shootings since Donald Trump took office has gone viral with more than 1.4 million views, negative reviews by grassroots rights activists, and some questionable claims.
One statement in the video, that “21 kids get shot in America every day,” is particularly bothersome if one breaks out a pocket calculator, as one Twitter respondent did, stating, “But 21 per day would be over 6,000.” |

"Any time you see gun crimes occur, you're not seeing law-abiding citizens involved in those crimes," said Mosley. "We don't feel like that law-abiding citizens should be infringed upon. They have this right as guaranteed by the Constitution of this country," said Judge-Executive, Dan Mosley.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Those, who have the command of the arms in a country are masters of the state, and have it in their power to make what revolutions they please. [Thus,] there is no end to observations on the difference between the measures likely to be pursued by a minister backed by a standing army, and those of a court awed by the fear of an armed people. — Aristotle, as quoted by John Trenchard and Water Moyle, An Argument Shewing, That a Standing Army Is Inconsistent with a Free Government, and Absolutely Destructive to the Constitution of the English Monarchy [London, 1697]. |
