Writeup on the Smith & Wesson settlement with Boston. A good quote:
"If you pull the trigger, you want the gun to discharge ... If it's not going to do that because of some bells and whistles put on it, it's not reliable."
And there is a poll on the page to tell them NO NO NO. |

You'd think all the federal money being used to entrap gun dealers on technicalities could be redirected to placing some young, cute agents in ideal locations to blow his balls off next time he tries it.
Harrassing legit dealers seems a bigger game, I suppose -- and fits the real agenda better.
Anyone did that to my sister, I would find him. |

"A federal judge will wait until after Jan. 1 to rule on a motion seeking dismissal of a suit brought by gun makers against Atlanta and 17 other state and local governments."
"Don't expect anything from me until after the holidays," U.S. District Judge Robert Vining Jr. told lawyers..."
"The suit was filed by seven of the nation's largest gun makers in federal court in Atlanta. It seeks to prevent a national "code of conduct" for them to do business with police agencies. |

"A WOMAN shop assistant held up by a robber with a toy gun expressed astonishment yesterday after a judge advised the man to buy her flowers."
"Paul McGregor, 21, was told by Lord Reed, at the High Court in Edinburgh, that he had escaped the customary jail sentence for robbery because his behaviour was 'an aberration'." ~~~ People in the UK stand for this, but then I guess so do we. |

"A lawsuit the city filed against gun makers to recoup the costs resulting from gun violence was negated by an earlier state law, said a judge who dismissed the suit."
"A 1995 law and an amendment four years later stripped Philadelphia and other municipalities of the power to either regulate or sue gun makers..." ~~~ Good. Which one is next? Of course they are talking about an appeal, not much else on the page if you want to save yourself a click. |

Clinton stated: "[I]n at least five states I can think of the NRA had a decisive influence." "An effective adversary, but I think on balance, a negative force. . . . [B]ut, you got to give it to 'em, they've done a good job. They - they probably had more to do with anyone (sic) else in the fact we didn't win the House this time. And they hurt Al Gore."
