Please join me in supporting the most conservative candidate for governor, Adam Andrzejewski. He is pro-life, pro second amendment, fiscally conservative and he understands and believes in the Constitution of the United States. He is for real government transparency. He is everything we should be looking for in a governor. |

In exchange for our hard-earned money, Kellerman came up with a study that “proved” that someone with a gun in their house is 43 times more likely to be killed than a disarmed householder. Kellerman’s “research” made a few questionable assumptions to ensure that his conclusions arrived at the proper outcome.
For example, he stipulated that a successful self-defense use of a gun had to result in the death of a home invader. Cute. Real scientists such as Dr. Gary Kleck of Florida State University find that of the more than 2 million times a year that Americans use a gun in self-defense, they only fire their gun two to three percent of the time. |

From Safe Streets In The Nationwide Concealed Carry Of Handguns... "Turning Crime around in a single night: Criminals will always be armed. The solution is not in more guns; it's always been about citizen authority and lost values. An armed citizenry is never an armed camp --“ rather, citizens have elected to assert their own genuine authority over both crime and the system. Many have begun to turn crime around in a single night. An armed citizenry is the culmination of what the community will no longer tolerate, how parents will protect their children, how citizens will more precisely direct their law enforcement assets and how we assert ourselves as the Supreme Authority of the Nation." |

Why not reconsider and oppose legislation that takes our freedoms and leaves a legacy of insurmountable debt to our children and their children? Because of the current recession, many of us who for years have ignored the corruption and secrecy in Washington are now paying attention. You can only beat a dog for so long before it bites you back.
We will take action to see that our country and its founding ideals are not lost with the 111th Congress. We will find representation that respects the will of the people --” that champions free speech, the right to keep and bear arms, and the pursuit (not guarantee) of happiness. |

One of the most surprising revelations of the task force report must be the fact that both law enforcement training and the manufacturer's training materials significantly understated the risks associated with ECWs. This resulted in an over reliance on on ECWs by law enforcement nationwide, particularly in response to low-level threats.
Most medical reports concerning suspects who have died after receiving a shock (s) tend to say that the ECW together with other conditions were responsible for the death. Other conditions include; drug use, alcohol, pre-existing medical conditions and mutliple applications of the electronic shock. The A.G.'s report is extremely comprehensive and contains more than 60 specific recommendations... |

It explains many things: the man at our school concert mumbling anti-government sentiment and heckling the conductor when she said “Happy holidays” by shouting, “The holiday is Christmas”; the Puyallup man holding a sign blaming the Fort Hood killings on political correctness; the righteous who tell me that I am not really a Christian; the wild claims that separation of church and state is a myth; and that free speech, the Second Amendment, marriage, Christmas and our Christian heritage are under assault by liberals.
Ed.: I guess proposing to ban semi-automatic rifles doesn't qualify as an assault on the Second Amendment. |

“He was really down on the government,” Jimmy Oliver, 41, one of the three hostages, said in an interview Thursday. “About the government taking over the right to bear arms.”
“He was angry at the government overtaxing us,” he added.
Whether Mr. Taylor served those decades in the Marines is uncertain, with military officials not immediately able to locate records. The Associated Press also could not corroborate whether his son had been killed. |

Oh dear. The law was supposed to include language permitting inspections of gun and ammunition containers and the suspension of firearm carriage service upon receipt of credible intelligence of terrorist threats. But all that got lost.
Now lawyers are trying to figure out what to do about a federal law that requires Amtrak to stow riders in baggage check. Congress will no doubt rectify the error next session and insert the correct language.
But in the meantime, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence fired off the best line of all, noting archly that each year about 30,000 Americans are already securely locked away in human-size boxes, thanks to guns. |

Many may say,'What difference will possessing arms make?'. The right answer to this question could be perfectly answered by ones logical mind. On 26/11, even if 10% of the crowd at Taj Hotel beared arms, there wouldn't have been a human slaughter! The simple reason being at least 50% of the 10% arms owner would have had the guts to shoot-down the terrorist. It has been one complete year for 26/11 event and still our Indian Government are busy requesting quotations from foreign arms manufacturers . |

Yes! and the bedpost was his own. The bed was his own, the room was his own. Best and happiest of all, the Time before him was his own, to make amends in!
“All of the Bill of Rights shall be sacred to me and I will defend every free man’s right to keep and bear arms!” Scrooge repeated as he scrambled out of bed. “Oh, Jacob Marley! Heaven be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob; on my knees!”
He was so fluttered and so glowing with his good intentions, that his broken voice would scarcely answer to his call. He had been sobbing violently in his conflict with the Spirit, and his face was wet with tears. |

As an American in the biathlon, Tim Burke is used to being overlooked by the sport’s most passionate fans. His German and Norwegian rivals are celebrities in their home countries, where biathlon is broadcast live on television and races draw up to 30,000 spectators. In Germany, he is perhaps best known as the boyfriend of Andrea Henkel, a two-time Olympic gold medalist. So when Burke took first place in the World Cup standings last weekend — the first time an American has ever done so — his achievement stunned the sport’s mostly European fan base. |
