"DENVER (AP) - A federal judge Thursday agreed to let Timothy McVeigh drop all appeals in the Oklahoma City bombing and to set an execution date."

"U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch gave McVeigh until Jan. 11 to file further appeals of his conviction. Once that deadline passes, Matsch said, he will let the U.S. Bureau of Prisons set an execution date."

As usual, their solution to the problem is to demonize gun owners and demand the Government take away more rights from those who had nothing to do with this or any other crime.

Today, George Bellum, a law-abiding tree farmer from Bloomsburg, PA, can no longer touch his guns. In fact, he cannot even legally own one - because he was convicted of drunken driving more than 20 years ago.

This article should serve as a wake-up call to the "silent majority" of gun-owners--hunters, farmers, etc.--who have typically remained uninvolved in the fight against gun-control laws becuase they were convinced they would not affect prople like them.

"Maryland House Speaker Casper R. Taylor Jr. says that bureaucratic bungling in implementing a new gun safety law is creating serious problems for Maryland gun dealers and that many dealers are finding it difficult to get new guns from manufacturers."

"Clearly, a lot of people, including myself, voted for this bill because they believe in the gun safety aspects of the bill," Taylor said yesterday.

Another press release from the 'caring, feeling' Million Moms for the Abolishment of Rights. Basicly states that because the nutbar in Massachusettes broke many laws and killed 7 people, that more laws would have made things all better.
Completely predictable garbage from the people who brought you such things as "Rosie The Foul Mouthed Facist" and the "Don't Resist: Rape Is Better Than Using a Gun in Defence" campaigns.
