The .4” buckshot size doesn’t get as much use by shooters as it probably should. A very nice home-defense round, .4" buck is also a lot of fun to shoot on the range. Pumping a few rounds into various-sized targets is very satisfying with this ammo type because the power and penetration is just staggering.

Legislators hostile to Second Amendment rights are not going to rest this session. Last month, the Senate passed Senate Concurrent Resolution 8 declaring “gun violence” as a public health crisis along with a mostly partisan vote. The General Assembly is currently in recess to hold budget hearings, but if SCR 8 passes the House as well, then it will be used to justify a whole slew of anti-gun bills as necessary for public health.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki recently reiterated President Joe Biden’s desire to go after America’s millions of lawful gun owners when she said that Biden “would love to see action” on gun-control measures. “[President Joe Biden] has an ambitious plan in a lot of areas and on a lot of issues. I will say as vice president and even before that, the President took on the NRA twice and won. This is an issue he is personally committed to, we are, many in this building are personally committed to and I think he would love to see action on additional gun-safety measures,” said Psaki when asked about gun-control measures.

Although a handful of Idaho cities has adopted Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions — and the city of Kamiah is now considering it — the Idaho County Commission on Tuesday turned down a suggestion that the county follow suit. Commission Chairman Skip Brandt said during the commission’s regular weekly meeting that he had considered bringing up the issue a few years ago, but he changed his mind after the Idaho Legislature passed a law in 2014 — Senate Bill 1332 — making Idaho a Second Amendment Sanctuary entity. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Let us contemplate our forefathers, and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that `if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration...that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." --Samuel Adams, speech in Boston, 1771 |
