LESSON NO. 1: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and take you someplace you do not want to go because of who you are or what you think -- kill him. If you can, kill the politician who sent him. You will likely die anyway, and you will be saving someone else the same fate. For it is a universal truth that the intended victims always far outnumber the tyrant's executioners. Any nation which practices this lesson will quickly run out of executioners and tyrants, or they will run out of it.

I hesitated to print this article in full because Museveni is, at the least, a disenguous old ex-communist crocodile who glosses over much of his own record over the last forty years. There is no doubt that he is the last man standing in Uganda and that he is nothing if not adaptable to changing circumstances. He is certainly someone who, of all the Ugandan leaders, has tried to represent the "will of the people," such as he sees it and he is the most successful practicioner of what he calls "Protracted People's War" in Africa. . .
Still, he does enunciate some eternal principles of guerrilla war. For this and this alone, his speech is worth studying. . .

In fact, the AG would have the power to make the accusation, and any grounds on which it is based, secret, so there could be no fighting the 'terrorist' designation. A legislative committee has once again passed a bill allowing concealed handguns in churches, after its sponsor amended her measure to make it more appealing to the full House.
Rep. Beverly Pyle, R-Cedarville, amended her measure to remove a provision that would require churches to post a sign if they didn't want handguns on their property.
Under the change, a church that opts out from allowing handguns could notify members any way it pleases — through a sign, an announcement during services or a notice in a church bulletin, for example.
The House Judiciary Committee — which passed the measure last week — agreed to the amended version Tuesday. The bill now goes to the full House |
