(Reuters) - Last week a United Airlines co-pilot thwarted a cockpit intruder by whacking him with an ax, but many pilots would rather arm themselves with guns.
--The main problem with Pilots carrying guns is that they are working stiffs like you and me! The next thing you know the average guy will want to be able to protect himself and his family when waling down the street or visiting a mall and then Constitutional rights will have to be allowed and that could lead to American freedom. |

WHAT MOTIVES LURK BEHIND LEFT-WING POLITICS? Today’s typical Leftist, for example, wants forcibly to confiscate every American man’s .22 rifle and woman’s .25 caliber self-protection handgun. Such things, say the Nanny Statists, are intolerably dangerous.
But these same gun grabbers condemn any suggestion that the United States should snatch nuclear weapons potential out of the hands of terror regimes in North Korea, Iran, and Iraq. |

Marty Meehan, D-Mass, that would outlaw "soft money" contributions to national political parties and ban certain types of political advertising 60 days prior to an election.
