"Two of the aggressor's friends joined him and the black man soon found himself in a fight with three men. A bouncer sent the altercation outside. The original instigator went to his car to get his pit bull to sic on the black man, who pulled a handgun from his car to use against the dog." No shots fired, nobody hurt, intended victim safe. |

The House Militia & Police Committee's next target is the 1995 law barring Virginians from carrying guns into restaurants that serve alcohol. Groups pushing for repeal of the ban packed the room. They wore tags saying 'Guns Save Lives'. They were armed with righteous claims about the God-given right to carry arms anywhere. |
