The North Dakota House will be voting on 3 pro-gun bills today. Please use the link below to contact your Representative urging them to support HB 1341, HB 1340, and HB 1339.
HB 1341 recognizes the right to self-defense while on the grounds of the State Capitol. The amendment, however, will turn the bill into a summer study, and essentially the bill dies. There will be a motion on the House floor to remove the amendment. We want a yes vote on the motion to remove the amendment and then pass the bill in its original form. |

The eXergy, or XRG, line of bullets were created by Sellier & Bellot as an alternative to lead ammo without losing any performance or stopping power. These are hollow point bullets capped with aluminum to make sure they retain their shape in the air, while expanding rapidly upon impact with a target. This company did extensive testing while creating these bullets, and they can be considered a “premium” type of hunting ammunition due to the way they are made, the excellent performance and the ability to take down even the largest game animals at long range. |

The .44 S&W Special has been called one of the most accurate and versatile cartridges ever made, yet its popularity never soared as high as other revolver rounds. Even so, the .44 Special, as it’s commonly called, has withstood the test of time over 100 years since its conception, and can still be found on gun store shelves across America. This cartridge provides shooters a round that they can use for self defense, hunting, target shooting, and recreational fun. |

A home near Tampa, Florida, has a swimming pool shaped as a revolver and the pool builder told the homeowner, “You swim your lap down the barrel.”
The homeowner, Louis Minardi, was a big hunter and a gunsmith in the 1970s, FOX News reported. In the 1980s he and his wife decided they wanted a pool in their yard and Minardi talked to an old high school friend, Albert Jones III, who had become a custom pool builder. |

A Republican measure to allow people to carry concealed weapons without a permit in Florida continues to move forward in the legislature, even though the bill has received broad public opposition, including from gun rights groups. “We’re insulted by this bill,” Bob White, chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida told members of the Senate Criminal Justice Committee on Monday. “It’s a slap in the face to the Second Amendment community.” |

Learning from one’s own misfortunes is smart, but it’s wiser to learn from—and avoid—the misfortunes of others. For American Second Amendment supporters, the Canadian experience provides a chilling and instructive lesson in what gun controllers really want: the end of civilian firearm ownership. For many Americans, Canada is as familiar and relatable as neighboring states of the Union. Canada and the U.S. share a border, a common language, cultural touchstones and various commercial and sporting pursuits.

Committee hearings for Michigan gun reform bills will be heard this week. The bills were proposed three days after the mass shooting at Michigan State University that left three students dead. Similar gun reform bills were introduced just over a year ago after the mass shooting at Oxford High School. Those bills went nowhere, but Michigan democrats said state politics have shifted just enough to bring about changes. |

He walked into Arcadia Firearm & Safety in Arcadia, California, three days after his gun license became official. The 22-year-old immigrant from mainland China walked past a Trump flag, past the rifles, and headed to the glass case displaying handguns. He didn't grow up around guns, but after seeing the gun store's website in Chinese, he hoped owner David Liu would answer some of his questions. |

If you ask them, most people will give you their impression of armed defense. Is it trivially easy or is it impossibly hard? Let's ignore Hollywood and look at what real people do every day.
I think almost anyone can learn armed defense if they are willing to take instruction and then practice what they were taught. This is what I’ve learned from firearms students and instructors. |

A trio of ambitious Democratic proposals to further regulate firearms have cleared a key early deadline to advance in the Washington Legislature. Those bills would prohibit the sale or transfer of most semiautomatic rifles, mandate gun-safety training through a permit-to-purchase program, and hold the firearms industry responsible in some cases of harm. |

A new federal “zero tolerance” policy is impacting some local gun stores. Store owners are having their licenses revoked for certain offenses, and there are no warnings or second chances. Johnson City gun store owner J.C. Harrison received a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms notifying him his license to sell guns is revoked effective April 4. His appeal was denied. |
