I’ve used plenty of electronic training and marksmanship systems over the years and they’re great. Each system is different but all offer feedback on your gun handling, marksmanship and even decision-making. They are great in every way except one: They are expensive. That’s not a big problem for an organization or club but for individual shooters, owning such a valuable training adjunct is cost-prohibitive — until now. |

What are Pete Buttigieg’s politics? If you read CBS, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Guardian, and a host of their friends, the former mayor is decidedly a moderate. According to The Washington Post and a few more, he’s “a traditional centrist” who embodies “the Democratic primary’s rightward drift.” And if you listen to the left-wing activists trailing him around, he’s “Wall Street Pete” and “will kill us.” |

In just about anybody’s mind that knows anything about fine firearms, the Colt Python is a legendary double-action revolver. The base model was made from 1955 until 1969 and many other versions were brought out including the standard blued finish from 1970 until 1996. The Python was also produced in nickel finish and stainless steel in 1985. Clearly, the Colt Blued models were the most desired and still sought after today. |

The Virginia Senate blocked one of Gov. Ralph Northam's top gun-control bills Monday, adding to the list of measures the Democratic governor supports that may not pass the legislature. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted against a bill that would make it a felony to “recklessly leave a loaded, unsecured firearm” in a way that endangers a minor. |

By a 4-2 vote, the Lapeer County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution on Thursday, naming Lapeer County as a Second Amendment (2A) Sanctuary county. Lapeer joins Cheboygan, Mackinac, Oscoda and Presque Isle counties as leaders of the 2A Sanctuary movement in Michigan.
The two commissioners voted against the resolution — Chairman Gary Roy & Rick Warren — favored the original wording brought to the board but could not get behind the resolution as it had been amended. On Jan. 23, the resolution was introduced, and wording was added at the suggestion of Commissioner Brenden Miller to define a 2A Sanctuary County as “a place of refuge for the lawful gun owners and citizens under the Second Amendment and the Michigan Constitution.” |

This past November, as Americans were preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving, Michael Bloomberg, like the royalty of old, rode a $34 million media carriage into the 2020 Democratic Presidential race. Surrounded by armed lackies and fueled by bad ideas, Bloomberg proclaimed a singular purpose: to oppress your freedoms in ways that he would never oppress his own. |

Virginia may be 2,000 miles away, but it was at the heart of the Uintah County public meeting last week where the County Commission voted unanimously to become the state’s first Second Amendment sanctuary. Police in eastern Utah communities, including the county seat of Vernal, will no longer enforce gun laws passed by state and federal lawmakers that county officials perceive as unconstitutional. |

I’m encouraged to see that the draft judicial ethics opinion that I made public and criticized—on judicial membership in the American Constitution Society, the Federalist Society, and the American Bar Association—has become the topic of broader debate and controversy. Among the many noteworthy pieces of commentary, I’d invite you to read Carrie Severino’s series of five posts—on the ACS’s political activities, on the ABA’s long list of liberal legislative policies, on how the draft opinion’s reasoning ought to apply to so-called affinity bar associations, on the broader implications of the draft opinion for religious and civic groups, and on the composition of the committee that issued the draft opinion. |

A state lawmaker is proposing legislation that would require closer scrutiny of California hunting licenses like the one used by a teenager charged with opening fire at a California synagogue last year. The suspect’s hunting license was not set to go into effect until about two months after the shooting at the Chabad of Poway near San Diego. |

Billionaire presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg is in trouble, and it might be surprising with who.
He’s running as a Democrat, yet he’s got many Democrats furious and on top of that, his $11 million anti-gun-rights Super Bowl advertisement is being seriously challenged for accuracy.
The Democratic National Committee is also taking heat for changing the rules to qualify for the Feb. 19 debate in Nevada, opening the door for Bloomberg to participate. It is beginning to appear the DNC is so worried about Democrat/Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders taking the nomination they’re scrambling to make it possible for Bloomberg to become a serious mainstream alternative.

Billionaire Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg is a staunch proponent of gun control for America with one caveat–he gets to spend his days surrounded by good guys with guns to keep him safe. Bloomberg’s use of armed guards has been seized upon again and again by gun rights supporters through the years. They point to the guards in an attempt to show his habit of pushing laws that would deny self-defense tools to poor families while allowing Bloomberg to benefit from being protected by men with firearms. |

February 7th is the last hearing of the House Public Safety Committee before the crossover deadline. It is the last chance for Bloomberg’s anti-gun cronies to get their coveted House Bill 961 out of committee and rushing to Governor Northam’s desk. The anti-gun majority has already demonstrated their disdain for law-abiding citizens by passing numerous bills to cast your right of self-defense aside, but a comprehensive gun ban remains Bloomberg’s #1 demand. |

In response to recent gun control measures in states like Virginia, a group in Stone County wants the area to become what they call a “Second Amendment Sanctuary.” Monday, the Citizens Militia of Mississippi urged the Board of Supervisors to pass such a resolution. Michael Fenton was one example, who stood up for his beliefs, urging the Board of Supervisors to pass the resolution to further protect the gun rights of citizens in Stone County.
