For starters, Biden called the Glock, which is one of the most-popular handguns sold today, a “weapon of war.” He did so while referencing the murders of two police officers allegedly shot by a man who possessed a stolen Glock handgun. |

Bruen case. Previous Attorney General, Mark Herring, had filed a brief supporting New York’s restrictive carry permit licensing scheme that arbitrarily denies this right to citizens. |

For many people, carrying a firearm in their vehicle is more comfortable than carrying a firearm on their body. It is perceived to be close by or handy while in the car. I may not agree with their rationale, but I know it happens. As more and more folks return to the workforce, we will see an increase of firearms carried in vehicles.

Local gun shops are great places to find BBBGs and two worth looking for are the out-of-production Smith & Wesson L-Frame .44 Specials. The Model 696 is an all-steel, five-shot, heavy-barreled .44 Special while its companion Model 396 Mountain Lite is the lightweight version. Due to its much lighter weight, mine is equipped with finger-grooved rubber grips for controllability. Both are fed diets of factory loads or handloads using the Speer 200-grain Gold Dot JHP.

“Never sell a gun,” someone once told me, and it’s a good rule of thumb for the first two-thirds of life. My two sons like guns, but there are only so many they need to inherit.

The charges stem from a break in discovered by the pawn shop owners on Jan. 31. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the owners discovered two large holes in a concrete wall on the outside of the building. On the interior, concrete debris was “littering the inside,” according to documents.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State. Our opinion is that any law, State or Federal, is repugnant to the Constitution, and void, which contravenes this right. [Nunn vs. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846)] |
