Here’s the truth: The transformation of many national Democratic leaders to outright socialists—although many won’t admit it—imperils our freedom in a way we’ve never seen before. And you, America’s gun owners and voters, are not being told the truth about this movement’s true goal—turning our country into an unrecognizable, socialist nation devoid of the basic freedoms that the founders enshrined in the Constitution.

Teenagers can enlist in the military, go to war and use assault rifles, said Garrett Streiz, owner of Alex Pro Firearms in Alexandria. When they come home from military service, those young people should be allowed to buy a gun they're accustomed to using, even if they're under 21, Streiz said.

If you think the national division over guns hasn't hit your workplace, you haven't been listening. Not only are the employees who advocate for increased gun control, including a ban on assault-style rifles like the AR-15, engaged in active argument with those who argue for fewer restrictions on gun owners' ability to carry concealed firearms, but some of your employees may be packing.
Does your employee handbook address whether or not you'll allow employees or non-employees to bring guns into the workplace? What about whether they can keep guns in their cars or trucks? Alaska's concealed handgun permit statutes don't address whether those legally permitted to own guns can bring them to work or carry them into other's workplaces. |

According to Fox News, President Donald Trump wants to create a new federal commission on school safety chaired by Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to study the proposals. Across the country Wednesday, students have scheduled a 17-minute walkout of their classes as a protest against “gun violence.” |

You can’t confuse Delphi Greek restaurant with Smith & Wesson. Delphi specializes in kebabs and baklava — not AR-15s and ammunition. Yet the Los Angeles restaurant is one of about 3,100 U.S. businesses that still proudly stand with the National Rifle Association. At a time when major corporations like Delta Air Lines Inc. and Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. are rethinking their relationship with firearms, the NRA’s legion of steadfast supporters in its Business Alliance provides a sharply different view of America’s enduring gun culture. |

The news came from SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. He issued a midday Monday statement that acknowledged the foundation does not normally see so much interest from young adults. |

I, too, am a fan of snub-nose revolvers and often can be found with one on me when out working on our property. One of my favorite loads for the .38 Spl. is the old +P, 158-grain, semi-wadcutter lead hollowpoint made popular back in the 1980s by the FBI (in addition to other federal agencies).

Liberalism is largely a process of adopting illogical and factually invalid positions and then artificially placing blame on its opponents when policies based on those positions inevitably fail. For the blame to bear fruit, it is necessary for people of good conscience to be fooled into believing that their actions and beliefs are bad for society and have brought about shameful consequences. |

Wyoming’s controversial “stand your ground” self-defense bill was sent to Gov. Matt Mead on Saturday, who must now decide whether to veto it. The legislation is meant to strengthen and clarify Wyoming’s self-defense laws, something advocates say is necessary to empower law-abiding state residents to protect themselves. But critics have expressed a variety of concerns, ranging from the restrictions that the bill would place on law enforcement to novel legal mechanisms that would be introduced to state statute. |

These past few days saw changes to our gun regulations on both the national and the local level after an emotional couple of weeks following the mass shooting at a Florida high school. In Florida, Gov. Rick Scott signed a package of new gun regulations into law. They include age limits and a new three-day waiting period on certain kinds of powerful guns. Nationally, the Department of Justice began the process to ban bump stocks, as well, submitting that legislation Saturday morning.
