Are you any less mauled if a young dog bites you as opposed to a fully-grown pitbull? Not really. Hence why reasonable and prudent people will draw down on a snarling, charging dog of any age approaching them.

This goes double for pitbulls with their reputation for fearsome and vicious attacks on people and animals alike.

The auto worker who was cursed and threatened by Joe Biden this week ran circles around the angry Democrat, says the spokesman for a Second Amendment advocacy group.

The recorded one-minute, 30-second confrontation at a Detroit auto plant went viral on social media sites such as Twitter, then the incident got picked up by Fox News and print media such as Reuters and The Associated Press.

The next morning, “Fox and Friends” interviewed the worker, Jerry Wayne, who insisted that he was polite when he reminded Biden he wants the vote of blue collar workers who also own guns.

A well-known candidate for governor claims to have a god-given right to have a gun. Greg Hughes, the candidate, is asking Christians to believe that God the Father, his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are committed to Hughes having a gun, a tool designed specifically for killing. Blasphemous? Delusional? Definitely not Christian.

The most recent Supreme Court interpretation of the Second Amendment limits the right to a gun in the home for self defense. Unfortunately, the gun addict can't survive separated from a weapon.

As of Thursday, the US had more than 1,323 cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. The World Health Organization declared the outbreak a pandemic. Italy, as well as New Rochelle, New York, have gone into lockdown, and many major companies have urged their employees to self-quarantine. On Wednesday night, President Donald Trump announced the US would be suspending travel from much of Europe to the United States for at least 30 days.

With the many new attacks on the Second Amendment on the federal, state, and local levels, this special session examines these threats and how to protect your right to self-defense. Indeed, the Democratic Party’s major candidates for nomination for President are unanimous in their agreement that your constitutional right to own and bear arms should be radically reduced, and in many cases, completely eliminated.

Well, if O’Malley was helming the ‘we’re going to take your guns’ agenda of Beto, then it looks like Biden is pretty open to it as well. Could there be a stop to the Biden hiccups of the campaign trail? We’ll see. Probably not because this is Joe Biden and there are many, many aides tasked with keeping Joey Boy more or less from getting into situations where he makes a fool of himself. Granted, Beto made his pitch that only the government should own firearms on the grounds of…Kent State. You know, where the government shot and killed a couple of students in 1970.

Gun rights activists filed a lawsuit this week against Connecticut officials over a 2013 law, passed in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, that prohibits people from having more than 10 rounds of ammunition loaded into their firearms.

The Connecticut Citizens Defense League (CCDL), the Second Amendment Foundation and two gun owners filed the suit in the U.S. District Court on Tuesday, claiming the state law places an unconstitutional burden on the right to bear arms.

The Council voted 10-1 on Wednesday, passing a resolution which adds the classification.

St. Mary Parish Councilman Scott Ramsey authored the ordinance, which he said reinforces the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, “A well-regulated Militia being the necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

I believe that fears surrounding the coronavirus pandemic are rather overblown. It should be enough to cancel some mass gatherings, wash our hands diligently, keep calm, and carry on.

Still, the Second Amendment certainly helps add confidence to our calm, diminishing any added criminal threats as a consequence.

What if a large share of our police forces become incapacitated or otherwise isolated from duty? In such a scenario, combined with emboldened criminals, police response times could extend into multiple hours — if officers arrive at all.

U.S. Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) today reintroduced the Protect our Military Families’ 2nd Amendment Rights Act. This legislation would allow military spouses to purchase handguns in the state where their husband or wife is permanently stationed for duty, or in a neighboring state if the military spouse commutes across state borders to their duty installation.

“Our military personnel and their families make incredible sacrifices to keep our country safe,” said Rounds. “Allowing them to keep their families safe is the least we can do. Our legislation makes certain that the Second Amendment rights of military spouses are protected no matter where their family is stationed.”
