... "In America, there is hardly such an extreme on the right, since conservatives, independents and libertarians do not want anarchy, but law and order. Only those who can gain from civil disturbance even consider anarchy."
"Why do I mention this? Because this squeeze play is common around the world, and every single nation which fell had this same conversation. As Solzhenitzen once wrote, 'We waited too long.' How much longer are we going to wait before we demand the repeal of all gun control? The key is to get more non-gun owner citizens on board." ... |

"This post was originally written in November 2010 concerning a supposed hunting group called Project Gutpile. They were part of the suit filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to force the EPA to ban lead ammunition and lead fishing sinkers. The EPA had concluded that they did not have that authority under the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976. The District Court agreed and dismissed the suit."
"Now the Center for Biological Diversity is back again and so is the supposed hunting group Project Gutpile with a second petition to the Environmental Protection Agency asking that lead bullets and shot be banned. ..." ... |

"Leaning against a scrub pine as preschoolers scurry about at his feet, Shane Gazda, father of 3-year-old twins, recalls a conundrum he faced earlier that morning: whether to take his Smith & Wesson .40 caliber handgun to a Groundhog Day celebration in this town's White Deer Park."
"After all, what was once against the law in North Carolina – carrying a concealed gun in a town park, square, or greenway – is now, as of Dec. 1, 2011, very much allowed. To Mr. Gazda, who likes to shoot targets in his backyard, an event as innocent as paying homage to a rodent could turn dangerous if the wrong person shows up." ... |

It is alleged that an untrained civilian was unable to contain the flames with the fire extinguisher on the bus. The vigilante was held for questioning, before being released when it was discovered that no laws were broken." ... |

The first one that leaps to mind is: What the HELL do you MEAN the cases offer 'little guidance'?!? So what more smegging guidance do you need?!?!" ... |

"In September 2009 leading biologists and economists from around the world met in Windhoek, Namibia, in southwestern Africa to conduct the World Symposium on the Ecologic and Economic Benefits of Hunting. The scholarly and well-substantiated conclusions they drew on the positive results of regulated sport hunting in Africa demonstrated that hunting was not only a valid and necessary wildlife management tool, but that it was also an economic catalyst for many African nations. The resulting publication of the collection of papers presented at this gathering ... certainly refutes any of the unfounded, emotional charges that have been hurled at the sons of Donald Trump following a safari they participated in last year." ... |

"Knives generally aren’t my thing. I’m a gun guy, and they’re my tool of choice when it comes to self defense. But with my side job as an EMT there have been a number of times where having a knife handy makes all the difference. I can remember one incident shortly before I left Fairfax where we had to cut a drunk driver out of his clothes to assess a heavily bleeding wound and having my knife handy saved us a good 30 seconds ..." ... |

"Not too long ago Chiappa took their exotic and unique Rhino revolver and re-chambered it in .40 S&W. This was an interesting move on their part, but considering how much less expensive it is than .357 Magnum while still bringing a lot of energy to the party, it stands to reason that Chiappa would re-chamber the Rhino in another snappy caliber."
"For the uninitiated, the Rhino is a completely different kind of handgun. Designed by Antonio Cudazzo and Emilio Ghisoni the Rhino is a double-action revolver turned upside down. The Rhino fires from the bottommost cylinder, which puts the barrel bore right above the trigger. This makes the Rhino a very soft shooter." ... |

"John Moses Browning designed some amazing guns. But for most of us his career is defined by his work with Colt Manufacturing LLC. The Model 1911 .45 ACP. If he were alive today, I wonder if he’d feel the same way about the 1911 that The Eagles feel about 'Desperado'. Maybe, if he were alive today."

The cartridge and the handguns both have seen vast improvements in quality and popularity as more and more people take to carrying concealed handguns as a routine practice.
