Presumptive Democratic 2020 Presidential Nominee Joe Biden is not one for clarity, tact, or a firm grasp of the facts. However, even an American public that has long been aware of his shortcomings was taken aback this week when the former vice president launched an unhinged attack on a pro-Second Amendment auto worker. Aside from further exposing a waning control of his faculties, the exchange revealed Biden’s deep antipathy towards the Second Amendment, his profound ignorance on the firearms issue, and his willingness to lie for political advantage.

CLAIM: During the March 15, 2020, CNN/Univision Democrat debate, Joe Biden criticized Bernie Sanders’ support of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), claiming gun makers enjoy complete immunity from lawsuits because of it.
VERDICT: False. The PLCAA is designed to shield gun makers only in instances in which the gun in question was lawfully made and lawfully sold. |

In his ongoing effort to differentiate between himself and Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden is touting background checks but ignoring the fact they do not stop mass public attackers.
While Politifact reports Sanders “did vote against the Brady bill, including a shifting mix of background check provisions, five times,” Biden is not addressing the fact checks have proven to be no hindrance to determined, mass public attackers.

There are levels of spring snow goose addiction. At the very top are hunters with jacked-up diesel trucks pulling 30-foot trailers loaded with full-body decoys, chasing white geese from Arkansas to Saskatchewan, burning up fuel and the patience of loved ones back home. Frankly, they are half nuts to pursue these fickle/smart birds for months on end. But they aren’t as crazy (passionate is a nice way of putting it) as the solo snow goose hunter. Setting out huge rigs of decoys by yourself in dark, mud-sucked fields you can’t drive the truck into is hard work most hunters aren’t willing to do.

The Marine Corps JROTC varsity marksmanship team at Pacific High School, consisting of Amanda Benetin, Julia Thomas, Lucas Hicks and Preston Martin, has had a remarkable school year, according to WO Brian Cain, coach.
In December 2019, the team took a short drive to St. Louis University High School to compete in the Missouri State NRA Championship.
“The competition is always keen,” said Cain. “This tournament occurs during the beginning of our season so in order to win you have to be good early.”
The team walked away with championship No. 1.
Six weeks later, Jan. 18, the team traveled to Missouri Military Academy in Mexico to compete against 22 other teams in the Missouri State CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) Championship. |

Registering a firearm as an SBR is a pain in the ass. Between the $200 tax stamp and waiting months just to install a stock, many shooters opt for a stabilizing brace instead. But some guns either don’t have a stabilizing brace available for them, or simply don’t look right with a brace installed. |

After a seemingly never-ending season of cold fronts, driveways buried in snow, sub-zero truck starts, and school closures, it’s time to get excited. Spring is here, and it’s one of the best times to get outside. Turkey seasons are opening. The trout, crappie, and bass fishing is heating up. Morel mushrooms are popping up in the woods.
