The sad part is that Biden chose to attack an industry that has grown 171 percent since 2008 and currently employs more than 312,000 Americans from all walks of life in communities across the nation. He’s coming after firearms manufacturers that paid $6.8 billion in total taxes and had a total economic impact of more than $52 billion.
He’s claiming that the men and women who work in the factories, those who produce the firearms not just for law-abiding Americans to exercise their rights but also for our U.S. Armed Forces and law-enforcement officials, are enemies of our society. He argues that he’s the champion of the blue-collar worker, yet he wants to destroy a growing industry that provides over $15.7 billion in worker wages. |

Deer hunting is one of the most challenging big game pursuits there is. These wild animals are smart, elusive and they have a great sense of smell that gives them a real edge over hunters. That's why so many hunters spend tons of time at shooting ranges trying to pinpoint their maximum distance before deer season. The more you practice, the more confident you will be and the greater your odds will be for a clean and ethical kill.

Toilet paper, bottled water, milk and bread aren’t the only things in high demand amid growing concerns over COVID-19.
The coronavirus also has triggered increased demand for guns and ammunition.
“We’ve been packed all day,” George Israel, longtime owner of Brown Bear Sporting Goods in Chesterfield Township, said Tuesday.
The phones rang often at his shop on Gratiot Avenue, and Israel said callers have asked the same questions.
“You got guns?"
"You got ammo?”
Customers have been buying all types of firearms, including handguns, rifles and shotguns.
“We sold out of handguns but luckily I got more coming in today. I’m almost out of ammo,” Israel said. |

After a seemingly never-ending season of cold fronts, driveways buried in snow, sub-zero truck starts, and school closures, it’s time to get excited. Spring is here, and it’s one of the best times to get outside. Turkey seasons are opening. The trout, crappie, and bass fishing is heating up. Morel mushrooms are popping up in the woods. And spring break is a great time for a family camping trip. |

The Second Amendment Foundation quickly took the offense against New Orleans Mayor Latoya Cantrell, warning her against “suspending or limiting the sale of firearms and ammunition under her recently proclaimed State of Emergency due to Covid-19.”
On March 11, Mayor Cantrell issued a proclamation that included this language: “Subject to the provisions of Act 275 of 2006 (Regular session), the Emergency Authority is hereby empowered, if necessary to suspend, or limit the sale, dispensing, or transporting of alcoholic beverages, firearms, explosives, and combustibles.” |

Commonly referred to as “non-U.S.” ammunition (due to the U.S. leaning heavily toward Boxer-primed ammo), Berdan primers are often used in other countries around the world. But that doesn't take away from their significance within the ammo industry.
Ironically, Berdan bullet primers were created by an American named Hiram Berdan (while Boxer primers were created by Englishman Edward Boxer.) It's unclear as to why the use of these primers is inverted, however, we do know what distinguishes each type as its own. |

While law-abiding citizens are preoccupied with keeping themselves and loved ones healthy, anti-gun legislators advanced unnecessary gun control legislation, House Bill 4. Instead of using the time left in the shortened session to assure the well-being of their constituents, delegates hid behind closed doors and passed the long gun transfer ban without public input. House Bill 4 now heads to the desk of Governor Larry Hogan for his consideration. |

The internet is home to some very good and some very bad information, and unfortunately, the subject of the AR-15 is prone to this misinformation. Luckily Brownells has taken it upon themselves to do some myth-busting videos on America's favorite rifle! In this video, the Brownells Gun Techs go over the simple but often misunderstood issue of matching an AR-15 gas system to the buffer. In other words, does a rifle length buffer need a rifle length gas system, or can a mid-length gas system run on a carbine buffer? |

All guns stored at home must be kept in a locked container or disabled by a trigger lock, according to a new city ordinance passed by the Menlo Park City Council on March 10. A locked container is defined as a "secure container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock, combination lock, or similar locking device," according to California Penal Code 12026. A trigger lock is a pad or key lock that attaches to the trigger of a gun, available at many retailers. |

One of the most active marketplaces in the firearm world is that of concealed-carry guns, which shows few signs of slowing down, as more Americans get their concealed-carry permits and seek out training for personal defense. To cater to this growing market of armed citizens, FN America introduced its all-new FN 503, a single-stack, 9 mm concealed-carry gun that takes inspiration from the company's FN 509 line of polymer-frame handguns.

There is not one-does-it-all better High Power cartridge when all elements from accuracy, efficiency to availability are considered. The best caliber for High Power competition may not be the best cartridge for anything else. Think about it—the most efficient hunting round would probably prove to be miserable on a 100-shot target shooting course. |

The California Legislature will take an extended recess due to concerns caused by COVID-19 and is expected to return Monday, April 13. During this hiatus we can only hope that Pelosi and cronies do not exact extreme measures in hindering the rights of gun owners during the Coronavirus epidemic. |
