A special House panel handling gun legislation approved a proposal to toughen penalties against people who indiscriminately fire guns in the air. The 'Committee on Sportsmanship, Safety & Firearms', who overwhelmingly support gun rights, approved the measure despite the opposition of the National Rifle Association and the Conservation Federation of MO. ~~~~~ The NRA opposes THIS bill, but supports the ACCUSED in Texas being banned from ever owning another gun? This does not make sense. |

A woman who feared her husband was going to kill her and her 17-month-old son tossed the baby out a second-story window into a policeman's arms, then jumped herself. She grabbed the officers and said, "Help me! Help me! He's trying to kill me!"
The police did not know beforehand, according to the article.
Her and her son may have been killed had the police not been there at that moment, because she had no way of defending herself and her child. |

An AK-47 was delivered to a high school by UPS. The delivery was a mistake. The ATF now has the weapon. "IF" all works out, the gun dealer will more than "LIKELY" get it back.
IF and LIKELY? Why wouldn't he? He is a licensed dealer, and it wasn't his fault. |

"Believe it or not, there are some places and some people in this country who actually honor the men and women who fought and died for freedom in the uniform of our armed forces. And, believe it or not, there are actually people in this country who still remember that these men and women actually used guns to protect their fellow soldiers and to defeat foreign armies who had less than pristine intentions for our country and our lives." |
