Its beginnings date back to 1899, when John Browning created his first successful commercial automatic pistol, and its legacy continues through today with most American and all European ammunition companies still manufacturing rounds in .32 caliber ammunition. |

Published reports that some 700 New Jersey police officers have tested positive for the coronavirus and are quarantined underscores the importance of the Second Amendment Foundation’s lawsuit to require the state to open gun stores, the group said today. “This is exactly why the Foundation lawsuit to force New Jersey to re-open gun stores during this emergency is so important,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “People need to be able to obtain the means of self-defense in times such as these. This is why the right to keep and bear arms is essential.”

With the country on lockdown, most of us are stuck at home. Those of us lucky enough to be employed are working from our often hastily created home offices, or walking the laptop/tablet around the house as we weave through children forcibly home from school and dogs thrilled that we’re here to play with them. We may not have toilet paper or eggs, but one thing we have in abundance is time. That leaves us looking for something to do to avoid cabin fever, going stir crazy or just generally succumbing to the malaise of social distancing. Thankfully, there’s a great way to kill time. By great, I mean actually really irritating and tedious, at least in normal times. But normal times these ain’t. |

The usual characters have revealed themselves during the Wuhan virus epidemic. It is precisely during such an emergency that we need government officials to stay within their authority.. and not one inch beyond.
If it is too dangerous for a government official too to sit at their desk and process paperwork, then it is a state of emergency. Under those emergency conditions, permits should not be required for citizens with a clean criminal record to own, transfer, or carry a firearm. |

How can you tell whether or not the liberal media will pick up an incident of gun violence and turn it into a national story? It’s simple: If the shooting is successful, they will give it wall-to-wall coverage for a week. If it is stopped by an armed citizen, however, the liberal media will almost always pretend it never happened or glance over the story with only brief mention or coverage. |

Thompson/Center joined the Smith & Wesson fold back in 2006, with the manufacturing of T/C rifles today occurring alongside S&W production in Springfield, Mass., but it wasn’t until 2018 that the two entities intermingled their product lines with the introduction of Performance Center-branded T/C models. We previously evaluated the introductory version of the Thompson/Center T/CR22—a general-purpose model wearing a Magpul synthetic stock, iron sights and a lightweight barrel—and we found it to be a capable gun and a value at its MSRP of $399. |

I want to talk about my right-hand “man” while I was overseas: the M249 SAW. I deployed to Afghanistan for a year, 2012 to 2013. In that year, I developed a relationship with the M249 that redefined security for me. In June 2013, my scout truck was hit by a complex ambush, initiated with an IED. While the truck sat limp and the rest of the convoy was half a click back, we had no choice but to unleash hell as 7.62 pinged off the truck's up-armored plating.”
