The legislature, which is controlled by Democrats, has until midnight Monday to override the Republican governor's vetoes. The General Assembly needs a three-fifths vote in both houses to override a veto. I’ve driven by this sign all week, and THIS is the Gunsite Scrambler? I scoffed to myself as we were getting the official pre-shooting walkthrough. Piece of cake, I thought. I and several other Outdoor Life editors were wrapping up a week of trigger pulling at Gunsite Academy, a premier firearms training center in Arizona, and we were fixing to get a genuine Gunsite experience to wrap up our rifle handling evaluations. |

Amid growing concern about gun violence and untraceable "ghost guns" that can be 3D-printed at home, President Joe Biden was scheduled Monday to introduce new policy measures on firearms. Biden's announcement will most likely rely on executive orders on gun control, ghost guns and other facets of firearms regulation as part of an approach to rein in the pandemic wave of firearms-related attacks, two people with knowledge of his remarks said.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Sunday called for a federal crackdown on “ghost guns” amid a staggering surge in seizures of the DIY weapons in New York City. Schumer (D-NY) lamented that the untraceable firearms that buyers assemble themselves have too often ended up in the wrong hands — such as those of the Bronx teen charged in a shooting Friday that left a 16-year-old girl dead and two others wounded.

At the beginning of March, a man murdered his three daughters in Sacramento, California. Democrats had to blame the gun the murderer used. It was more politically expedient to blame the gun than to blame the failed Democrat polices, and too bad if it cost the lives of innocent children.
Those innocent lives were merely the latest cost that Democrat politicians were willing to pay to remain in office. |
