Children 7-17 years old are eligible for participation. CALL C. Williams at 810.767.1441 for details.

The 13-minute video, geared for kindergartners through eighth-graders, sends the message to students to tell an adult if they find a gun and to tell adults to lock up guns. Police chiefs from each Davis County city received at least three videos to share in schools, as well as packets on how to present the program.

A bill prohibiting Florida cities from suing gun-makers has passed the state Senate over objections from Democrats, as a case filed by Miami-Dade County now sits before the state Supreme Court.

"[The cities] are using taxpayer dollars to file these lawsuits because there are individuals in this state who don't like the idea of someone owning a firearm. I think it's time we quit blaming instruments for the cause of crimes in this state and blame the people who commit these crimes." --Fla. State Sen. Charlie Bronson

"The man accused of shooting 18 people in a crowded bar was an ex-con obsessed with guns and the movie "Natural Born Killers" who shaved his head and donned fatigues before the attack, acquaintances and witnesses said Sunday."

KABA NOTE: We wonder -- would this whacko have rampaged a bar if customers were allowed to protect themselves?

The latest update from John Birch at concealcarry.com

"It's official, fanny pack is the law of the land. We may have lost out on CCW, but State's Attorney Devine's effort to close the so-called "fanny pack loophole" also went down like a Chi-Com F-8 flying through a propellor arc...."

Brad Edmonds notes "many people are starved for data that shed positive light on gun ownership. Here, I link and describe some resources for those who want more information. This is a short list, but it is enough to save newcomers the web search exercise that usually turns up loads of oysters and few pearls. Many of the websites listed below provide long lists of links which themselves have been hand-picked for usefulness and credibility." ~~Of course, KABA is at the top of the list.

"It is not enough to say that we are not now getting our money’s worth for our taxes; we are paying the government for tyrannizing. The hostages are forced to subsidize their captors. How does a hostage get his money’s worth? The "services" and "defense" we allegedly receive are themselves evils we – or at least the honest men among us – would be better off without. Today government is the wolf at the door."

The only thing the government is trying to control is the law-abiding citizen when it passes more laws. The illegal immigrant does not care. I can not blame them, but if we truly want to get rid of them, make the punishment hurt.

A government agent points a sub machine gun at a young boy and all Janet Waco can say is, "the agent did not have his finger on the trigger".

~~I wonder if I could get away with that answer in a court of law.
