"Nearly three years after the massacre at Columbine High School, Brian Rohrbough is satisfied that he knows who killed his son. On Wednesday, authorities released the results of an independent investigation led by El Paso County Sheriff John Anderson that determined O'Shea was not yet on the scene when the deadly shot was fired. It also found that the bullet in Rohrbough's body was a "textbook match" Harris' weapon." |

A University of Utah professor is so terrified of guns that he is threatening to quit if peaceful, responsible students and faculty carry concealed firearms on campus. He apparently thinks violent criminals will obey a sign saying "no guns".
Under Utah law, concealed carry is already legal on campus.
We hope his bluff gets called. A law professor should be able to read and comprehend research and realize that guns on campus will keep everyone safer. |

"The simple point is this: Our entire system of law and justice is based upon the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven. This translates into the simple truth that for our society to work, we must trust one another. That means our government - an extension of ourselves - must trust us. Until an overt criminal act is committed and guilt is proved, it is unlawful and immoral to limit the freedom of any innocent citizen, especially a right so basic as defending one's own body." |
