A passenger in a car traveling in Osceola County, Fla., was killed and another woman was seriously injured when a gun in the vehicle accidentally discharged twice, according to Local 6 News.
Police said four people were traveling in a car on Nova Road near Holopaw when a gun accidentally discharged, injuring a woman in the vehicle, Local 6 News reported.
The driver then pulled the car over on the side of the road.
Police said when the three were trying to exit the car, the gun accidentally fired again, killing a man.
Local 6 News reported that the man's body was left at the scene while the other three passengers went to get help.
The injured woman was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Her condition was not known.

A Millbrook student has been arrested for bringing a gun to school.
Police say a 16-year-old boy at Stanhope Elmore High School was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
Chief Kenneth Bradley says a brave student alerted a teacher about the potential danger.
"A teacher got a note that he might have a pistol in his bookbag," Bradley explains. "The note was taken to the principals office. The principal came and got him with a security officer. The pistol was in his bookbag inside another bag."
Chief Bradley says the student told him he was carrying the weapon because he was having trouble with a couple of other students at the school.
Investigators say the boy got the gun from his mother's boyfriend. |

Pete Collins of Madison, who is now an inspirational speaker known for doling out safety tips to audiences around Mississippi and the world, posted a $10,000 bond Friday after arriving at the Tupelo-Lee County Adult Detention Center to turn himself in. No trial date has been set.
A grand jury issued an indictment in February, alleging Collins fondled a 13-year-old girl in Tupelo in January. Collins, a former director of public affairs for the Mississippi Highway Patrol, was never arrested on the charge. He couldn't be reached for comment.
A longtime state trooper, Collins was promoted to captain in 1997 when the Mississippi Legislature mandated his promotion. He retired a year later.
In 1988, Collins was named Statewide Trooper of the Year and President Clinton awarded him the Presidential Citation for an Outstanding Enforcement Officer in 1994. |

A Hamilton motorist is recovering Wednesday after he was pistol-whipped and his car stolen by three men outside an east-end variety store.
Police say the motorist had stepped out of his car and was in a telephone booth when he was attacked on Tuesday.
All three attackers were armed with handguns and one of them used his gun to beat the man on the head and face.
Police recovered two of the three guns at the scene after arresting a 29-year-old man, who has been charged with robbery.
The victim was treated for cuts and bruises. |
