"The headline, in a nutshell, says it all. For it succinctly provides the reasoning, of the Founders of our country, in having an armed citizenry. Pretty simple isn’t it? Now, if things were as they were intended to be. The average citizen, upon reading the above, would think or say, yeah…so?"
"But, since things are NOT as they were intended to be. Endless amounts of articles, that rehash similar points repeatedly, are necessary. Which article will be the one that gets those, Usurping against the American citizens Right to Keep and Bear Arms, to see the light? Which piece of writing will prove to be the magic bullet? The one, which will cause those Usurping against our Second Amendment Right, to cease in their attempts?" ... |

"Week after week, I see articles from around the world about incoming illegal guns. Today, I read an article which wonders where they come from."
"This is not even germane to the predicament, for it reflects a misunderstanding of the very nature of the problem, and therefore its straightforward solutions."
"Many nations oppose weapons for oppressive reasons, not for reasons of justice or for keeping the peace. For many nations, keeping the peace is code for oppression ..."
"In free nations, it’s getting closer to that, because it confuses the concept of illegal guns with lawful guns and lawful, righteous intention, and therefore confuses their respective purposes."

"His business, Trader Sports, Inc., is open for business as usual today, because Cucchiara is suing Federal agents for revoking his firearms license. And, 'if his store is shut down, it could be open again faster than it takes to empty a thirty- round clip on an AK-47, with a new owner. You couldn't make up a fictional gun dealership much worse than Trader Sports,' says Jim Brady, the former press secretary to President Reagan who was shot 25 years ago last week. "Were this the best of all possible worlds, we would fire three rifle shots at a target, peer downrange, and see three holes clustered within the area of a dime at precisely the right place. But this is not the best of all possible worlds, in that it has a place for chiggers, bad cholesterol, rabies, abdominal fat, leprosy, and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). FULL TEXT BELOW:
A Roselawn store owner turned the tables on a would-be robber late Monday night.
Cincinnati police said the owner of the Shop-Rite on Reading Road told them a man walked into the store shortly after 9:30 p.m. and attempted to rob him.
The owner said he pulled out a gun and shot at the robber. He told officers that he thought he hit the man in the leg.
Just before 11 p.m., a man came to the emergency room at University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers responded to the hospital and determined that the victim may be the robbery suspect. -------
