It’s all about Americans, guns, rights, lax law enforcement, lenient judges and a person’s right to protect their property, according to the hundreds of people responding to this story across the map. |

The liberal media won’t touch the impending controversy involving factual reporting with a 10-foot pole that identifies as a rare orchid endemic to the rugged terrain of the New Guinea autonomous topographical region carpeted by dense tropical jungle. While dime store anthropologists crown the native peoples with platitudes surrounding the dangerous term of the “noble savage”, a unit of tribalism that existed in an innocent utopia before being exposed to corruption and murder by colonialism, the brutally flawed logic that pockets of humanity existed in the purest form before being visited by European explorers, only forwards the agenda that drives partisan politics and special interests. |

An “assault weapons” ban lacks the votes to pass in the Senate, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) admitted during an appearance Sunday on CBS News’ Face the Nation. Murphy said, “I want to ban ‘assault weapons.’ I think it’s just absolutely unconscionable that we allow these ‘weapons of war’ to be in commercial circulation. But there’s not the votes to do that.”

As much as groups like Moms Demand Action and Every Town for Gun Safety desperately try to recruit women into their politically driven anti-gun clubs, their attempts appear to be falling flat . It would seem modern women have decided to take their safety and the safety of their families into their own hands. Responsible, smart American women are no longer buying into the notion that the cops will arrive to save you if you’re under attack.

We have a few non-negotiable rules in our classes, the first rule being safety first. We don’t want a negligent discharge on the range and we certainly don’t want a negligent discharge in the classroom, dining room, or wherever we teach. One way we address this is by providing all the guns and ammunition needed for instruction and certification; students can elect to use a personal gun if they desire.

On Thursday, April 6th, the Vermont Senate Judiciary Committee will be hearing H230, “an act relating to implementing mechanisms to reduce suicide.” This dangerous anti-gun bill violates Vermont citizens’ Second Amendment rights by implementing a slew of anti-gun laws. This bill includes a laundry list of gun control measures including “Red Flag” laws, mandatory 72-hour waiting periods, and “safe storage” laws.

Joe Biden, his weaponized ATF and their sycophants in the legacy media launched an elaborate campaign this week to change the public’s perception of the thousands of federally licensed gun dealers in the country, whom Biden desperately wants to put out of business. It is classic gaslighting, but it should not come as any surprise. Biden declared war on guns and gun dealers just months after taking office, and he foreshadowed his latest move earlier this month.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was joined by state lawmakers Monday to announce sweeping new measures to protect the state's students and teachers. “This past week will certainly be remembered as one of the most heartbreaking weeks in our state’s history,” Lee said. Lee said the state plans to implement funding to put an armed security guard at every school across the state. He said "there's no excuse" not to have security at all school buildings, both private and public. Budget amendments will include $140 million to train and hire guards.

Attorneys for the Second Amendment Foundation and its allies in a Minnesota case challenging the state prohibition on handgun permits for young adults aged 18-20 have filed a brief asking the federal court to deny a state request to stay the injunction issued last week which declared the permitting age restriction unconstitutional. SAF is joined in the case by the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, Firearms Policy Coalition and three young adults, Austin Dye, Axel Anderson and Kristin Worth, the latter for whom the case is named. They are represented by attorneys Blair W. Nelson of Bemidji, Minn., and David H. Thompson, Peter A. Patterson and William V. Bergstrom at Cooper & Kirk in Washington, D.C. The case is known as Worth v. Harrington. |

Once again, an American city has endured the horror of gun violence in an elementary school. In a quiet Nashville neighborhood, gunfire erupted on what should have been a typical school day. Six people were assassinated, including three nine-year-old children. Once more, cable news devoted hours of coverage to the breaking news. And, once more, Congress will fail to act. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), admitted, “We’re not going to fix it.” Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) mailed Christmas cards last year with his smiling family holding guns.

Federal background check data for March 2023 shows that gun sales nationwide continue to be brisk. The National Shooting Sports Foundation announced the 44-month streak after crunching the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System figures for last month. The unadjusted March 2023 FBI NICS total of 2,954,230, after the data is sifted by NSSF to remove checks and rechecks done for carry permits and other reasons, remains at 1,556,492. In the end, last month’s numbers represent almost four years since July 2019 where background checks for the over-the-counter sale of a firearm have exceeded 1 million each calendar month. |

Spring has sprung and New Hampshire-based SIG Sauer has introduced a new variant of the P365 in a pleasing pastel. An expansion of the company's .380 ACP-chambered P365 variants, the new micro compact carry gun ditches the traditional black-on-black color scheme for a Robin's Egg blue grip module that carries a nickel-finished stainless-steel slide and matching surface controls. Meanwhile, the trigger, sights, slide optics plate, magazine base pads, and carbon steel 3.1-inch barrel all retain their traditional black finish. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all — security, comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again. — EDWARD GIBBON [On ancient Athens] |
