"...They want society disarmed. They want us to rely on our nanny state for our safety. They devalue life in hopes that we will be less repulsed by the ease with which criminals take it and will be less apt to do something about it. Property doesn't matter to them. Your life and the lives of your loved ones don't matter. Is it a conscious push? Do they not understand that utopia, lack of pain and a lack of suffering cannot exist? It's an illusion, and much like the residents of that Brave New World had to drug themselves into a stupor to avoid the harsh realities of their 'utopia,' the paradise the gun grabbers dream of doesn't exist either."

"As usual, the current debate on modifying Delaware's existing 'concealed carry law' to legally carry a firearm has brought lots of disingenuous rhetoric from the anti-gun crowd. It's a shame they can't stick to, or don't understand, the facts."

"Here's all you really need to know. Right now, any criminal can put a pistol in his waistband and carry it concealed. Those who are willing to risk the penalty for murder, armed robbery, assault, rape, or dealing in illegal drugs are not likely to concern themselves with the penalty they might face for just being caught with an illegal gun."

"If you are a law-abiding citizen, however, and want to carry a concealed weapon for the protection of yourself or your family, the legal consequences are too great to do it illegally. You must get a permit."

"Every year in Washington state, almost 600 citizens die from gun violence and many more are injured. These figures include homicides, accidental shootings and suicides. The recent tragic shooting in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle brought home the fact that we live in a violent society, made worse by the prevalence of easy access to firearms."
