WorldNetDaily staff writer and talk-show host Geoff Metcalf interviews someone who has some shocking answers, Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt. During the '80s, Iserbyt was a senior policy adviser in the U.S. Department of Education and has also written "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America," a chronological history of the past 100 years of education reform. In this interview with Metcalf, she discusses the impact of the federal government, the United Nations and influential corporations on the American educational system and a little-known program called "School-To-Work." |

Only 100 members of the so-called "Million" Mom March showed to march for gun control in Washington, D.C. on Mothers Day. CNN admitted these were "vastly reduced" numbers and even gave some space to the NRA! As a practical matter, 100 is pretty close to ZERO. Maybe the "Moms" are waking up! |

"I shouldn't have to decide whether my kids and I are going to be victims or criminals because someone decided my right to self-protection is subject to their whim," she said.

But Minneapolis police officials decided otherwise. Her application for a permit to carry a handgun was denied on grounds that she lacked a "sufficient personal safety hazard". |

This government employee with salary paid by me, and enjoying the protections of the First Amendment, uses terms like 'pack heat' and 'strap on a piece' while he refers to the Second Amendment.
Contact the author, Nathan Smith, at the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification and remind him that 'patriot' and 'criminal' are not the same.

Fox News -- DAYTON, Ohio — The Second Amendment Sisters, a group of pro-gun activists that includes many mothers, will rally on Mother's Day in opposition to tighter gun control laws.
"The Million Mom (women) don't speak for all women," she said. "Not all women want gun control. We can't let our voice not be heard." |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and `is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power." [Cockrum v. State, 24 Tex. 394, at 401-402 (1859)] |
