Only the judiciary can use "judicial means" to do anything. The appointments process is just the appointments process. The way to keep politics out of the courts is to keep politics out of the courts. "Those who know Ulises Bertacco say the northwest Phoenix jewelry store owner would never just sit back and let somebody rob his store. He would protect himself with a gun. Five years ago, they pointed out, Bertacco shot and wounded a burglar attempting a smash-and-grab job."
KABA NOTE: This time though: "Bertacco, armed with his own gun, chased at least one person down the strip mall walkway. Witnesses said four or five gunshots rang out. At one point, Bertacco used a vehicle to shield himself from the shooter."
