More info regarding the sale of Smith & Wesson to Safe-T-Hammer as reported in the Sunday Republican (Spfd, MA).
Now is the time for S&W / Safe-T-Hammer to nullify and rescind the agreement signed with the Clinton Administration. If not, continue to support other firearms manufacturers who support your Right to Keep and Bear Arms!!!!! |

~This isn't RKBA related... at the moment that is. But if he wins, it WILL be and you can kiss your guns and the Bill of Rights goodbye. This just turned my stomach reading it.
KABA NOTE: "Reverend" Al Sharpton said (noting the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson's runs for president in 1984 and 1988), "Twenty years later, we need to do the same thing, and maybe we need another black activist preacher from New York to run, to galvanize people." And "He said his purpose would be to promote issues that concern blacks and progressives". |

"Instead of spending their money on Capitol Hill, they are using money to come up with creative, innovative media strategies and go directly to the people and amplify the issue and get the issues out there. We can create a change in the hearts of Americans and have them do something about it without demanding Congress to do anything."--PAX spokesman, Shane Kavanagh |

The sheriff's department failed in what should have been its first priority — stopping the assault that left 15 dead and 20 wounded.
The sheriff's office should have paid attention to a witness who ran from the building and said there were 2 shooters in the library.
A year before the attack, a search warrant was never obtained. Officials would have found video tapes that the teens made outlining their plan and demonstrating their weaponry. |

At the Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club, about 80 women got basic lessons in firearm use, archery, and fly casting. The daylong event was sponsored by the local chapter of the Second Amendment Sisters of Pennsylvania. Teenagers and seniors alike, many with little or no experience handling firearms - got help in everything from selecting weapons to choosing a stance while firing.
"More women today are tired of being victims of crime," said event organizer Jim Bestider. |

"Senator Ginny Burdick (D-06), Oregon's most militant anti-gun legislator, is at it again. She has vowed all session to pass legislation that would ban concealed handgun licensees from schools and any place schoolchildren might gather -- such as a field trip. SB508 is particularly vile because it sets an ever-shifting statewide trap that law-abiding concealed handgun licensees cannot possibly avoid."--GOA Alerts

KABA NOTE: "Back across the street at the convention center (where Heston was speaking), signs on the doors read: 'No personal weapons allowed in the building.'" |

"Saf-T-Hammer, which produces safety locks, has already said that it would integrate these with new Smith & Wesson guns. If the company is admitted back into the arms of the NRA this weekend, it will prove that Smith & Wesson became a pariah for supping with the government devil, rather than for agreeing to put more child-proof locks on its guns." |
