When you stroll into your local FFL or browse your favorite online store for ammo (which is obviously Ammo.com) hunting for a 50-round box of 9mm Luger, you’re looking for good ammo at a reasonable price.

Over the last few years, finding quality ammunition that won’t break the bank has become more of a task than it was pre-2020. However, one ammunition manufacturer who is trying to ensure shooters like yourself stay at the range instead of home on the couch is BPS Ammunition.

The word “Texas” is derived from the Caddo Indian word for “friends,” and the official motto of the Lone Star State is “Friendship” as a result. This slogan will likely never be more fitting than May 17-19, 2024, when friends and allies of freedom from all across the nation will congregate in Dallas with like-minded patriots to attend the National Rifle Association’s 153rd Annual Meetings & Exhibits (NRAAM).

Guns.com recently had the honor of visiting CZ's historic flagship factory in Uhersky Brod, in Czechia, the Czech Republic, and we got to take the first CZ 75 out of its resting place. Designed starting in 1969 by the brothers Koucky (Josef and Frantisek) for CZ as a 9mm parabellum chambered pistol made for commercial export, the handgun known as the CZ 75 was finished by early 1975 (hence the designation) with five pre-production samples (serial numbers 00001 through 00005) carefully assembled for testing and evaluation.
