If you have a concealed handgun license in Texas, you can now legally carry your gun in North Carolina.
Gov. Rick Perry signed a reciprocity agreement allowing Texans to travel freely with their guns in North Carolina while enjoying similar privileges their licenses give them at home.
Texas has similar agreements with nine other states, but the laws vary.
The Texas Department of Public Safety recommends you read the laws of other states before carrying your gun out of state. |

There is new security camera video of the men who shot three grocery store employees with a tazer gun.
Wilmington police are distributing the pictures as they try to identify the two men behind the masks.
Police say they used a handgun and a tazer gun in an attempted robbery at Lowes Foods on South College Road.
The employees were stunned, but not injured by the tazer which zaps victims with electric current. |
