A task force put together by the Los Angeles United School District (LAUSD) is recommending that individual campuses be allowed to bring police back if they so choose. Fairmont State University held a meeting last week to show their plans for the implementation of the Campus Self Defense Act, and those plans are now available for public comment. The policy was established by a school committee composed of 14 students, staff and faculty members. They recommend that events with 1,000 people or more prohibit concealed carry, along with daycares, areas designated for counseling, campus residence halls and more.
